I have a small cork screw I want to bring on the ship to open a bottle of wine to drink in my cabin. I don't see it on the "prohibited items" list. Should be OK, right???

Great! Thanks! Always a little song and dance moving things you CAN'T have in your carry on when to fly to the carry on for the ship. It's even a DISNEY corkscrew!
The last time I checked, corkscrews are actually permitted by TSA for carry-on with the exception of corkscrews that include a tiny little knife to cut the label. It's probably best to check it in your luggage to avoid argument with TSA while they double check and hold up the security line.

That has been my experience as well. I've flown with a corkscrew and only had a carry-on. It got pulled for extra screening, and they asked me if it had the little knife part to cut the foil (it didn't) and they checked it to confirm. Sometimes they didn't say anything about it at all. But I've had a corkscrew in my carry on on multiple flights without much, if any, issue.
