Any pools worth hopping to?

Disney resorts all have pretty cool pools, but they are not all created equal. Are there any pools worth "hopping" to or are none worth the trip?

I understand I cannot hop to Stormalong Bay, the AK pools, the pool at BLT, or the new AoA pool.

Edit: I am a DVC member.

Pool hopping is not allowed at any Disney resort. See the sticky at the top of the thread.

So either you are a DVC member or you like to stir trouble on the boards?

It really depends what DVC resort you are staying at to know if it is worth it. We have once or twice but only on a no parks trip.

The Poly is nice to swim for a bit then watch the fireworks from the beach.

The kids also like CSR, but it would all depend on where we are staying and how long if it worth it. Usually we just stay at AKV so not really worth it for us as the two pools there are nice.

Make sure pool hopping isn't blacked out for your time frame. It will be in your Portable Perks when you check into your DVC resort. You also cannot use the Dunes Cove pool at BCV.

Coronado Springs Dig Site is nice. Didn't care for the themed pool at the GF when we stayed there, but the non-themed pool was nice (and it was right outside our building).

We used to hop to SSR when my DS was small(er) because we liked the zero entry, and he LOVED the kiddie slide. That is actually the only pool we've ever hopped too, usually it's when we were staying at OKW.

I enjoyed the pool at GF because it was nice overlooking the lagoon. There is also an interior pool which is not worth the trouble except it is en 24 hours.

The pool at WL is nice as well and you can make an evening of it if you go to the campfire and movie in the theater next to the pool.

CBR has a nice pool. I don't think either of the PO pools are worth the effort of leaving your resort to visit, but prefer the POR pool and usually head over there even if staying at FQ.

I had a grand ole time at the Poly volcano pool after hours one evening, though that may just be the lapu lapu's talking... :rolleyes1

I say.. pool hop to all of them! Of course you know which ones you can't. Pool hop everyday if you can.. I think that would be kind of fun to do! :cool1: I suppose you can skip the value resorts (they don't have slides) and just move right on to the moderates and work your way to the deluxe resorts. :)

Poly? If you are allowed. But there is limited seating there, so you may be on the beach aways off from the pool.

Are you allowed into BLT? I hear they have a nice pool. Personally I think it's too much effort :rotfl: and I'd just use my resort pool.

I used the BLT pool when we stayed there. It wasn't worth hopping to. The only one I think that would be worth hopping to that we have tried so far are at BC and AKL, and those are on the no hop list.

That is why I am wondering if it is worth hopping to any others.
