Ok we planned to pay for everything by January, and we're ahead of schedule. So far we have flights and park tickets so it's just accommodation to go (well apart from travel insurance)!

Plan is to do a week at Disney....most likely Pop....and then a week at Universal. We REALLY want to stay at RPR more than anywhere but currently everytime I search for our dates it says No Rate Available :sad2: Which worries me even more as it's strange that that week in particular is suddenly unavailable which could mean Harry Potter madness.

2 things putting us off is I'm worried there could be new offers in January (more so on the Disney US website than UK), what's the chances of this? And we really want to stay at RPR the second week but if this isn't possible then we'd prefer to stay at a "better" Disney hotel the 1st week. How easy would it be to upgrade to a Moderate hotel from a Value on Disney's side? I'm assuming they wouldn't charge us a fee or anything seeing as we'd be giving them more money rather than less?

Sorry for the long windedness! Just starting to rack my brains! LOL Can't believe we've only got 4 months and 3 weeks to go!

We upgraded from pop to csr on out last trip we just phoned Disney, and as you say when you upgrading there is no admin fee! Us sites seem to do offers much later than us, maybe wait unt mid jan?

I got a really good wait for wilderness lodge for last October trip from expedia USA by booking a couple of months before we left :-)

It's hard to say really. It's odd for RPR to be booked up already but then again it might be the Harry Potter madness, as you say. As for upgrading to a Moderate from a Value, I can't see there being any problem with this. I think they only charge you an amendment fee when you 'downgrade', so to speak.

I have read (can't remember where) that there are rumours of new US discounts coming on the 21st December.

If you book through the US side you will be able to upgrade easily as long as there is room at hotel you want to move to on the deal you've booked.
