We will have our almost 7 year old and almost 3 year old with us. Normally I would take our Maclaren with us, but I think my older one might need a lift on the back once in a while. For those of you with this stroller-How often do your older kids use the step? How big of a pain is it on the Disney transportation systems?
Thanks

Back step works fine for short periods, but 7 year old should not be too heavy otherwise very hard to push.

Folds easily and is great for disney transportation.

I love our Pliko P3! We had no problems getting on and off WDW trasportation and it folds so quickly and easily for the buses. Our DD is almost 8yo and DS is amlost 3yo. DD hardly ever goes on the back anymore. The last time we took that stroller to WDW DS was about 9mo and DD was 6. DD road on the back alot and sometimes she road in the stroller when I had DS in his Baby Bjorn carrier. It wasn't difficult to steer with her on the back.

LOVE IT!! I have a 2.5 and a 5 year old. I have never had it tip with a ton of bags on the back; when taking my 2 year old out. I love that about it. It is sturdy and WONDERFUL!!

We are going to WDW next week and I will let you know how it goes.

I have a 2.5 year old and a 5.5 year old. We took our Pliko with us when we went in October. It worked great! Actually, the 5 year old rode *much* less than I expected. I was really surprised. Prior to our trip, it wasn't unusual for her to try to kick her sister out of the stroller at the mall, so she could ride. :rolleyes2 So, I was expecting to possibly have to rent a stroller some days for the 5 year old. However, she was happy walking most of the time. When she was tired or when we wanted to get out in a hurry, she would climb on back. It was perfect! We are leaving for WDW in a few days and will take the Pliko again.

We were able to push it right on the monorail. It worked great!

I will be taking it then. I was worried about being squished on a bus or something with it. I also think we will be packing things on and in it so the Maclaren would be very tip prone!

I love my Pliko. It was just a bit harder to carry on the bus than my MacLaren but so worth it. One great thing about the Pliko is that it stands when folded-so in some respects that made it easier than the Mac on the bus. On our last trip my kids were 6 1/2, nearly 5, and nearly 3. I had both the Mac and the Pliko. I had an extra day on last years multi year rental so I got a double stroller at Epcot 1 day but we used the 2 strollers for the rest of the trip. All 3 kids took turns in the seat of the Pliko and 2 older ones took turns on the back.

Are you flying? I did purchase the transport bag as I had read on this site about someone's Pliko that got damage on the plane. I didn't have the rain cover but now I'm planning an August trip when it rains daily so I'll probably get the rain cover for that trip. I went in August with just 1 child and did have the rain cover on the Mac and that was really great.
