Any plans to create a new Disney Explorer???

My boys love playing with our WDW Explorer but its sooo dated ~ it has 20000 leagues under the sea Its a great way to get a WDW fix between trips. Any plans on updating?? I'm almose tempted to go to lunch with an imagineer just to ask (OK BEG!!!)

oh i would LOVE a new edition. it makes me so happy to go on it. i got it quite a few years back and it is dated. my favorite thing was to go on the tours. lol. ahhh i want it now.

It's a CD-rom of Disney World. You see the "world" on there, and click on the park (or resort) and then click on a land, then a ride, etc. There are little facts about each area/attraction, it plays the music of the ride/attraction and stuff like that. I think the 2nd edition is the latest one and it had a little ad about Animal Kingdom in it- it's from 1998 when AK first opened I think. I bought mine new on ebay for like $7 plus shipping.

That's the second edition we're talking about. And I think that's even the same guy I bought it from!!! He must have a ton- I bought mine back last spring!

Sorry my little guy had pneumonia poor baby so I've been giving him lots of TLC. Yes I have the 2nd edition and sooo much has changed. My DS asks "where is there a submarine?" (20000 leagues is on it ) And so is Alien Encounter . Ak didn't open yet etc.. Very dated and we still love it. PLEASE DISNEY MAKE A NEW EDITION!!!
