Help, we are going to be starving when we get to WDW after almost 10 hours of flying (including layovers). We will catch the Magical Express around 10pm so we need to get to our resort, check-in and then try and find something to eat. So is there anyplace we can go? Do I need to try and make an ADR? I'm afraid of making an ADR and then our flight being delayed.

Thanks!

Well, depending on where you are staying, there is a 24-hour cafeteria at the WDW Swan, Picabo. Also, some of the places on the Boardwalk may still be serving that late. I think the ESPN Club does. You might look at restaurants at DTD as well. They each have their own policies for serving.

The food courts are open until 12 midnight, if you don't want a TS.

I'd just grab a bite at the airport. ME runs all night pretty much so dont rush.:goodvibes

I think gasperilla grill at GF is open 24 hours if you happen to be stying there. Otherwise, I agree with the eating at the airport idea.

I know some hotels have pizza delivery? I know Pop does... not sure how good it is though or what time they stop delivering? :(

I thought the food courts at the resorts closed at 11pm. Did they change it or am I remember incorrectly?

Just to clarify, Picabu is the 24-hour cafeteria but it is at the Swan, not Dolphin. IF you are staying anywhere in the Boardwalk area, this would be a good option. Otherwise picking something up at the airport is probably your best option.

Last year, the food courts at both POR and Pop closed at midnight, but only limited things were available after 11:00.

I vote for getting something at the airport.

What are the hours of the airport restaurants? Most airports I have flown to close up at about 10ish also...

Picabu is at the Dolphin, not the Swan.

Raglan Road at DTD has a 'late night' menu, that might go until midnight or later on busy nights, but you'd probably want to drop them an email or call to find out for sure.

Honestly, unless something was open in my resort (or in a very nearby resort), I'd try to eat at the airport, or on the plane. I'd just want to crash when I got to the hotel.

A little off topic, but we had one trip where one of us came in on a different flight. He was delayed, and it was close to 1am. The rest of us were asleep when he got there. I opened the door and his only words to me were 'point me somewhere flat'.

Our flight is really long but we are coming from the west coast so we will be 3 hours earlier. Meaning it will feel like 7-8pm when we land...

Also we are flying southwest so there is not food on the plane. I'm still trying to find out how late the restaurants are open at the Orlando airport. Most airports I have been to the restaurants close up around 9-10pm.

Thanks.
