This is really my ultimate breakfast splurge. Would love to see if i could find one for bfast. I thought someone said 1900 park had it but i don't see on the menu... thanks!
There's tons of eggs Benedict on property, and many restaurants put their own spin on it. Some of our favorites are the Grand Floridian Café, Olivia's, and the Rainforest Café, but there are many others.
Eggs Benedict - Two Poached Eggs on a Toasted English Muffin with Canadian Bacon and Hollandaise Sauce served with Asparagus $10.99
Lobster Eggs Benedict - Two Poached Eggs Lobster Bread Pudding, asparagus, and Hollandaise Sauce $17.99
Just had them last week at the Grand Floridian Cafe. Just heavenly. Served with asparagus. I used to get them at The Concourse Steakhouse at The Contemporary Resort - but they closed that place.
Eggs Benedict is my ultimate splurge, too. Last August 2010, the best Eggs Benedict that I had on property was at the Maya Grill at Coronado Springs Resort. It had just a hint of a vinegar flavor that I love!!!! That restaurant also had a good steak and eggs.
I also had Eggs Benedict at the Grand Floridian Cafe that trip, and the hollandaise was so bland that it had zero flavor. They must have used unsalted butter, and I could not taste any hint of vinegar. It was literally a plate of food with no taste or flavor. I thought I would ask for hot sauce, but the server took too long to come back and it was getting cold. So I ate most of it (and wished that I hadn't).
In August 2009, I had Eggs Benedict at the Wave at the Contemporary Resort. It was good, but it had a different hollandaise that wasn't traditional. I liked it, but I love traditional Eggs Benedict.
My favorite so far has to be the Maya Grill at CSR.
Many of the restaurants at WDW have them but my absolute favorite is at the Wave at the CR. They used to serve them with this chirizo sauce (spelling?) which was delicious but I think they changed it to some type of key lime hollandaise sauce now. I had one from their new breakfast buffet last month and it didn't disappoint! They do also serve them with crabcakes or a petit filet. I like mine traditional..ok maybe with a little twist on the sauce.
You can check it out below between the tomato slice and the homemade biscuit (another yummy there not to mention the "outa this world" grits!!) PF is 2nd on my list for favorite buffet benedict I actually have an entire review on my website on that and there is a photo with the benedict in my plate on it. www.disneydiningreviews.com/1900-pk-fare-grand-floridian.htm (it's one of the last photos on Mickey's right ear)...and you can also check out my review on the Captains Grill there too-I also have an eggs benny on my plate LOL! I love eggs benny can't you tell but the Wave's is my fav!
