We love Chef Mickey's and not really for the characters more for the mashed potatoes (yes the mashed potatoes) But I cant seem to change my ressie for the day I want. So I am ready to change to something else...but what??????:confused3

I like them too!! I'll tell you my favorite meal and that is the teriyaki steak and mashed potatoes at Kona Cafe at the Poly. I love everything about that place:love:

Le Cellier no longer serves those :(

We love CMs mashed potatoes too, we like crystal palaces as well. Maybe there?

Bubble and Squeek(?) at the Rose and Crown in Epcot.

My DD loved the name and we ordered it as an appetizer (the waiter was so nice and understanding).

Potatoes, cheese, bacon and onions. Just wonderful.

Never been to Chef Mickey's but so many people say the food is awful there.... and we are going for dinner 1st time soon. So, I'd love to hear more about what you liked. We are going to CM anyway, good or bad reviews, since I canceled it last 2 trips.

So, I can't compare... but Crystal Palace has a wonderful buffet... you probably have already been there? There's plenty of variety for everyone and it's very convenient, being right in Magic Kingdom. The salmon and carved meats are always good. There are about 10-15 different cold salads that are also delicious and interesting combinations and flavors. Far beyond plain macaroni and potato salad. Always good service.

Are you sure? We had them just two weeks ago. I ordered them with the filet instead of the mushroom risotto. Mmmmm so good!

You just made my day! (And another ressie for our trip!) They are THE BEST!!! Last time I looked they were missing from the menu!

I have been to both and I prefer Crystal Palace. I enjoyed Chef Mickey's as well but I found the food at Crystal Palace to be a little more varied and a much nicer atmosphere.
