Does anyone know if there are any perks to using the disney visa to pay for the vacation other than the 6 months no interest. Thanks!

Yes! You will get a Character Meet N Greet with a free 5x7 photo, a $15 voucher towards a meal at Planet Hollywood, 1 free round of Miniature golf, 10% off of disney merchandise, 20% off of the non-discounted price on select tours. They also have a special for DisneyLAND of Free stoller rentals. (wish they had that one at WDW!)

Thanks for the reply. How do we get the character meet n greet? Do we get a coupon? Thanks for the information.

Is the mini-golf for one person, or for the entire party golfing?

thanks. those sound like some pretty good perks. it makes me glad that i just signed up for one. :)

It's at Epcot and you show your Disney Visa to get in. I asked this a couple of days ago and the response I got is this...

"We did this a few weeks ago. You go in innoventions west. When you see the big firetruck just keep walking to the right and back of the room. You will see the place where there is a poster that says disney visa meet and greet. They had mickey, minnie and goofy in their blue year of a million dreams clothes. It was great! they took lots of pictures and we also took some of our own. I think the characters are subject to change."

Sounds like a blast!! I can't wait. :cool1:

It says it is one round per room. Not sure if that means each person or just one person. Either way, at least it saves some money. :thumbsup2

This is probably a crazy question but this is our second trip (last trip was 10 years ago) and I don't know much about the parks. We were not planning to go to Epcot this time. Do we have to have a ticket to get to this area? Thanks!

Yes, it states that a park ticket is required.

This will be our 1st trip in 10 years too! :cheer2: Can't wait!!!!! Have fun!

So, do you think it would be worth switching one day of our tickets to a hopper to do this? We just got the one day one park tickets since we were not going to be there but 2 days but it was my understanding that we could upgrade. Thanks

I don't think it's worth what an upgrade would cost. If you didn't plan on going to Epcot..for less than the difference, you could just have a pic taken at one of the autograph signings. Our pics have always been ok..but I never would have paid anything for them. I only get them because they are free.
