Any penalities for cancelling?

I know that if you cancel your DVC vacation within 30 days, your points are restored. I was wondering if you would be penalized for having multiple cancellations? I have had to cancel 4 of my planned DVC vacations because my DH's job is being restructured and one day he is awarded a vacation, I make the ressie and then he finds out he has to change his vacation dates! At this moment I am still holding on to my July BWV vacation but may have to cancell that too and try for something in August (which I believed is booked!!!). Thanks

When reservations cancelled 31 or more days ahead, the points are restored to your account and are again subject to all normal banking and reservation policies.
Cancels within 30 days will cause the points to be placed in the holding account- and they may not be banked or transferred.
There are no restrictions on how many cancellations are allowed.

don't worry that is not a problem - my nephew plays baseball and got in a tournment that my brother had not planned for - must cancelled and redone 4 times in a month.

Thanks for th info. I was afraid that with having had to cancel 4 times already and a possible 5th time that MS would put me on a "black" list or something and get aggrevated with me! Just got a call from my DH and it looks as though we will have to cancel our 2 BR preferred view at BWV in July!!! Or do I dare take my 3 DD (ages 9,4,2) alone!!! I have been really looking forward to my first DVC vacation and it seems that it won't happen in the near future. But I will keep trying!! I do have 41 years left!
