Any Panera Bread fans here?

We love Panera, as a treat I get the kids a cinniman (sp) crunch bagel "sliced like bread" w/ plain cream cheese. The kids call Panera the "special bread" store.

Also, before the kids DH and I lived in a condo building that had a Panera on the ground level. I used to call Panera "The Hotel Lobby"

LOVETHEPARKS - Can you tell me more about the souffles? Which one did you try - I already told DH we are going there Sat morning. Thanks.

I  their chicken salad sandwich and the broccoli cheddar soup with a couple of their sourdough rolls - YUMMY!!!!

I'm not LOVETHEPARKS ;), but I found this online for you:

Seasonal Spotlight

These flaky puffed pastries with hearts of gold are the perfect summer eye-opener. Just remember, our Baked Egg Soufflés are made only until 10:30am each day.

Spinach & Bacon Soufflé

Eggs, spinach, cheddar cheese and bacon, enlivened with a dash of Tabasco®, a hint of garlic and a squeeze of lemon juice, baked in sweet French pastry dough and topped with Asiago cheese.

Spinach & Artichoke Soufflé

Eggs, spinach, Romano cheese, red peppers and artichoke hearts, lightly flavored with a dash of Tabasco®, a hint of garlic and a squeeze of lemon juice, baked in sweet French pastry dough and topped with Asiago cheese.

I live for the cinnamon crunch and chocolate hazelnut bagels..... oh! and the asiago cheese and french toast bagels too!! I can't choose!!

Thanks BLONDIE - Spinach Aritchoke for me...BTW - I'm starving now and I want Panera!

Before we moved to our current city, I used to go to Panera once in a while - really good food! I never thought they were healthy, though! :)

I love Panera's sandwiches! They are so good. And I love going to Panera during the winter with a book or newspaper, getting a cup of coffee, and sitting by the fireplace. It's one of the only things I look forward to in the winter! That and my trip to WDW!!!!

Turkey sandwich, broccoli cheddar soup!

Bagels: Cinnamon Crunch, Passion Fruit with Vanilla Chips and Blueberry!!

Thanks :) Darn work keeping me tied up! lol This was the one I had and I really thought it was great, don't let the tabasco fool you, I didn't taste it one bit. Even my super-picky 17 yo sister loved it.

I had to fast forward through the replies because I LOVE Panera's and we don't have any in Idaho! I can't take reading about all the good stuff they have that I'm missing! :guilty: Reminds me to check the website, see if they are coming here yet. Probably not.

I went to their website and they don't seem to have a map of locations by state. You can put in a zipcode and it will tell you if they have any within 50 miles though. From responses here it looks like they are in the eastern half of the US and also in Texas?

I had never heard of them until last week when I was in Hunt Valley, MD. Can I say that it had the BEST cheddar brocolli soup! I was dissappointed in the tuna sald...but only because they must have put sweet relish in it and I can't stand that. So I took 3 bites and threw it out. Just found out today they are opening one very close to where I work! :cheer2:
