Any other way in besides through City Walk?

Hi:
We are NOT staying on Universal Property. Is there any other paid parking garage besides the one that forces you to walk through City Walk to get into Universal and IOA? I'm handicap so the distance isn't a problem for me in a wheelchair but I find my youngest daughter is exhausted by the end of the day. I've seen boats coming in. Are those hotel guests or is there another place to park?

Thanks.

The parking garage is the only space for the theme parks. However...you might want to consider Valet parking. It's very close to CityWalk and will shave off a fair amount of walking time. It's not cheap though...if you stay over two hours, it will cost you $30.00 for the day. The boats are for resort guests only.

Since you are staying offsite, it sounds like you might want to see if there are shuttles from your place to Universal. But...you would still have to walk further than if you used Valet.

I'll look into Valet parking. We purchased our tickets last year and didn't use them so it feels like a free trip so we could splurge for parking. Thanks!

On our next Universal trip I'll make sure we stay on site! My youngest would consider the boat ride in an attraction!

Forgot to ask. If you are parking valet, where do you enter City Walk? If I remember correctly, my handicap parking spot has me entering directly onto the people mover. Is Valet closer?

Valet is right at the start of the last moving walkway before entering Citywalk.

The new minigolf is located right next to it.

EDIT: http://g.co/maps/3jtr8

The valet station is underneath the blue/red/pink roof in the center of the image.

I've never been to US FLA, but at US LA there's a drop-off point right at the entrance where cabs were dropping people off.

Ah -ha! Found this:
"Passenger Drop-Off. If you're in a generous mood, you can drop your family off near CityWalk before you go off to park the car. Look for the signs directing you to the drop-off area, which is just across Universal Boulevard from the Valet Parking area."

That's from:

Passenger drop-offis underneath the rotunda, where the walkway splits towards the 2 separate parking structures, so valet is still a lot closer.
