Any OTHER vacation destinations?

If you're looking for a place that has a lot to do, you might want to try St Augustine (Florida). There's a gorgeous beach (Anastasia State Park is my favorite, because no driving is allowed on the beach--other beaches in St Aug. allow cars on the beach), a choice of accomodations from budget to luxurious (House or condo directly beachfront!), and a charming, historic town with lots to see and do (dozens and dozens of restaurants, shopping, architectural tours, ghost tours, boat/jet ski rentals, eco boat or kayak tours, deep sea fishing charters, an old lighthouse to climb, the Alligator Farm, a 16th century fort, etc.). Plus it's only an hour in different directions to Jacksonville and Daytona.

DH and I like to travel both coasts of Florida and stay at different beaches; while we love many of the beaches in Florida, we think St Augustine is the most enjoyable beach town! :sunny:

Thanks for the advice!
Are they all west coast though? we are really looking for something east coast. I cant cope with more than a 9 hour flight?

Forgive my ignorance I really dont know where some of the places are like Cambria, Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, san Simeon...
I guess they could be East coast...

Definately on the west coast.
