Any other Pluto fans out there? The parks need more Pluto-themed merchandise!

Pluto is my favorite too... and I've yet to find any aparel with just him on it over the last few trips. Ah well... the road less traveled and all that.

While most other little girls love the princesses, for my DD, now 5, it has always been all about Pluto. When we took her on her first trip at 3.5 I told her I was going to buy a stroller for her to ride in during the trip. She immediately burst into tears, and when I asked her why she said, "because Pluto can't hug me if I'm in a stroller." AWWW... She had seen Pluto hug a little girl during a parade on the trip planning DVD.

Anyway, our mission on that first trip was to find her a Pluto shirt. Well, all we could find were adult shirts!!! We did not find a ton with just Pluto, but those we did find were all for adults. We ended up buying her a ladies small to wear as a nightshirt and she still wears it today. We'll be looking again when we go in March.

Try the Hanes 'create a shirt' store at DD. They may have some Pluto designs that you can have put onto a shirt. I've gone here and made a couple of Timon & Lion King shirts, since they don't sell Lion King shirts in the parks.

I love Pluto! He's my absolute favorite character and I still get excited every time I see him at the parks. He's always been my #1. Over the years, I've acquired quite a collection of Pluto Christmas ornaments. My brother even brought one back for me from Disneyland Paris.

Last week I was reading a Sesame Street book to my 3yo niece and when I said, "I like Grover"--she replied with "No, you like Pluto!" pluto:

Well, since this is a Pluto lover thread, I am forced to tell my Pluto story. :rotfl2:

My middle DD who is now almost 11 went on her first Disney trip at the age of 9 months. We were at Donadld's Breakfastasaurus and Pluto come over to her. She was teething at the time and reached up, grabbed his tongue and began to teeth on it. A good mom probably would have stopped her being that it was probably full of germs, but I must not be a good mom because I grabbed the camera and told DH to grab the video camera. Pluto was amazing and stood there for several minutes allowing her to teeth on him. From that moment it was LOVE!

As soon as we left we went and got her a small Pluto beanie baby. She began teeing on his tongue and did for some time. She loves that Pluto and sleeps with it every night despite the fact that her bed is covered in other stuffed Plutos from the years. (His tongue shows visible signs of having been used as a teething toy.)

Every year we go to Disney we go to Chef Mickey's and have had amazing encounters with Pluto. (We all ahve matching Pluto shirts we wear.) Pluto always seems to point out our shirts. We have had a couple great times with Pluto when she teels him about when she first fell for him. Once he came back to our table and danced a whole slowish song with her and only her. She loved that! Last time she had the same small Pluto and he came and stole it and the waitress told her to chase him and he went running with it and then threw it to Mickey playing keep away. After that he gave it back but then showed her some tricks. He put it on his nose then flipped his head back andit went flying in the air and he caught it in his mouth. We have found Pluto is always the most interactive character.

We plan on having one of those photo quilts made of her chewing on Pluto's tongue as a gift when she goes to college.

Oh, I forgot, 2 trips ago her little sister bought her a stuffed Pluto reindeer head that his nost lights up red and he plays the tune of Rudolph. That is one of her favorite possessions.

Oh my God!! I am practically in tears!! What a wonderful, wonderful Pluto story!! I am 37 and I still keep the Pluto that my uncle bought me in 1977 on my bed.

My next mission on our trip next year is to wear a Pluto tee-shirt or sweatshirt and finally, finally pose with "my baby" (what I have called Pluto since 1977).

I am 37 and I still keep the Pluto that my uncle bought me in 1977 on my bed.

I'm 34 and still have my first Pluto too! He's so old (and loved) that his neck has lost all the stuffing and it falls to the side of his body. I love him! pluto:

My favorite of her Plutos is from our last trip. It was in the baby section. It was big and fluffy and soft colors. I loved it. She didn't see it so I got it and hid it and surprised her with it. She loves it too but not like the first Pluto.
