any other hurricanes out there?

We are due to arrive on Sat, Oct 2, but since we are driving, we are leaving Thurs night. We've had to alter our normal route due to Ivan damage, but is there anything else out there? I hope not for you Floridian's sake. My BIL is near Tampa. I don't see how you guys could take anymore. I lived through a hurricane as a small child and I can't imagine 4 in a row (or even 2 for that matter.)

Anyway, we are just trying to check on any other weather systems we need to watch.

Hurricane Lisa is out in the Atlantic, but it is headed straight northa and won't effect the US at all.

Fabulous. I hope everyone in Floriday can start getting back to normal. I don't know how the small business owners are going to stay in business. Really how anyone will survive all the financial fallout from all this.

Someone needs to get that hurricane magnet out of Florida. I had to deal with Ivan here in Alabama and one was more than enough for me. Bad Hurricanes!!!! I'm glad I scrapped my original plans for a September disney vacation and decided on November. My thoughts and prayers for those who have had to endure all this, vacationers too, but especially those who live and work in Florida. This season should have taught us that if you plan to visit Florida during hurricane season, make sure you are willing to be flexible with times and finances because you never know what will happen.
