Any other fans of Ramada Maingate?

Ramada Maingate was our initial choice for our stay in Oct, but $133 per nite vs 69 at Anaheim Plaza made me change my mind. I keep checking, and if I can get under 100 at RM, I'll cancel AP and we'll stay at Ramada. I doubt that will happen and I think AP will be okay. We are hardly in the room and like to keep the hotel cost down so we can come down several times a year.

Check RM's website for specials

I had to stay at the Plaza once for a conference, and while it's only about 5 minutes further than maingate, it feels further when you have kids trying to cross the street twice.

Plus RM's pool is much nicer. Definitely worth it for us!

Thanks ValentineWiggen,

Yeah I got the $133 off their website. for 10/9 to 10/19. So far its DH and I so no kids to worry about. And we don't use the pools, chlorine and I don't get along.

But I do keep checking the Ramada, and if i can get it under $100 i'll go for it.

Just got back from another trip to Disneyland and we stayed at the Ramada and had a great time! Awesome room, great price, service, breakfast etc.... Looking forward to our October trip there.:cool1:

So glad to see this! Our 1st trip west is next month - this is where we found the best deal for our desires. Honestly? A bit jealous you just got back AND you get to go again next month! :wave2:

We live in northern california so we go about every month or every other month, sometimes just for the weekend. :cool1:

I was set on staying at BWPPI for our upcoming February vacation, but Ramada Maingate was less. For Air & Hotel from SEA/SNA our total was under $1000. Choosing to stay at RM saved me over $200 (that can be used for other things!).

I did look at reviews here before I booked it, and was glad to see such positive information.

We go to DL all the time and have stayed at every single motel there on Harbor and vicinity in addition to the Disneyland Hotels. And if we are not going to stay at the Disney hotels which we love and want to save money, we always stay at the Ramada. Best all the way around in my opinion.:thumbsup2

It's good to hear so many good reviews. We're staying there next month on an Entertainment rate and I had been a bit skeptical as I was hoping for BWPPI.

Yes, we are a fan on their facebook page as well and they are very active on it, offering special deals and contests.:cheer2:

Absolutely DELIGHTED to read all these good reviews for the Ramada Maingate! Dh and I are booked there for 4 nights in a jacuzzi room for the first part of our 20th anniversary trip to CA!

Did everyone notice they mentioned new updates to the front of the motel on facebook & their website? I will be watching the renovations closely because we are planning a trip for July 2013 & I would love to stay in the new building. They start construction early Nov.

I'd love to hear about gas re-inbursement. Anyone care to explain how this works please? We'll be staying at the GCH for two nights, but will be arriving late at night, so I need to book a good neighbor hotel for our first night. :thumbsup2

We've stayed twice and had great experiences. I wrote reviews on tripadvisor. (Search marcellaphane to find them there.) Staying there again in December! :santa:

I have to say that we are big fans of Ramada Maingate. We have tried every single and I mean every single hotel/motel across from Disneyland and we just love the Ramada Maingate. They have recently refurbished their rooms and have flat screen tvs, big rooms with jacuzzi baths, a pretty good free cont breakfast by the pool. Im pretty picky and I am really impressed by how much attention they give to maintaining the grounds. I notice maintenance cleaning and painting etc... every day. Any other fans?:thumbsup2

I pretty much stay here every time I can. I noticed on their FB page they are going to be remodeling the hotel. If you haven't already join wyndham rewards to get points for free stays :)

We booked them for our February trip. The price and location were right, along with the free breakfast and wifi! Can't wait!!

Had an awesome experience. The breakfast was good, nothing too heavy, but adequate. The pool was amazing, the rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, and you can't be the location. We will definitely be staying there again!
