Hello Ladies!!!

DznyLvr2005: I really hope your Dr's find out what is making you so sick. I hope it is something simple. Keep us informed OK. Thinking positive thoughts for you!!!

Allison: I'm glad you and your family had a wonderful time!!!! I agree with Elaine's response. Keep is short and sweet.

Kristy: I'm so excited for you!!!! I know it must suck to have to deal with all those shots and stuff but it will be well worth it in the end!!! :goodvibes

As for AF: the early years...I didn't get AF until about a year after most of my friends. I only had one accident. I was so paranoid that when I thought AF was coming to visit I started wearing pads. Sometimes it would be 3 or 4 days in advace but I was NOT going to have an accident. I didn't need to give anybody more amunition to make fun of me.

Hope everyone had a great day!!!

Baby Dust!!! :wizard:

I had my doc appt that I should've had on Monday ;) today. All was fine. She reviewed the ultrasound pics and confirmed that all was fine and growing well. I got to listen to the heartbeat again (I swear I should've bought a doppler just to hear) and she said weight gain and all there were fine for where I am (about 10 pounds total so far). She also said next time I come in, I can sneak a quick peek ultrasound if I want to check. THey won't bill me or my insurance for it since we couldn't find it last time. So in 6 weeks I get to try again :)

Gurgi  I really hope that AF does not show... but if she does, I hope this isn't a sign of a bad one for you.

Kristy, I hope that Nicole's advice does help you! I am sorry they are so painful.
Just curious, about the blood clots, are you more liekly to get them for some reason?

Aurora, that sounds like one heck of a place to go  I'm not sure I could've handled a place like that (I don't like crowds though)

Aurora thanks for the details. I rarely pay attention to the activities at the fair grounds. I'll have to do a better job of that.

Rebecca when is your first ultrasound?

Elaine I think it's b/c of my E2 level and my weight but I'm not sure. I'm seeing a different doctor tomorrow for the transfer so I'm going to ask her opinion as well.

Elaine: I'm glad everything is great!! How cool that they are going to give you a free-bee u/s :goodvibes

Kristy: My u/s is on the 30th.

Gurgi: I really really hope this is your month!!!! It is still early for you to test. Try to wait a little longer next time and maybe you will be surprised :goodvibes

Kristy, I admit I am just totally curious about this kind of thing now. Especially after Carla, Michelle and Nicole coming through here. They shared and taught me so much about IVF :)
You know you will be in my thoughts tomorrow (probably as I watch HP ;))

Rebecca, just a little over a week and you will get to see your little one. I am keeping my fingers crossed that you have a great appt!
I admit I am not shocked about my doc offering to do the ultrasound quickly and "free of charge" We won't really be looking for anything other than boy or girl parts :teeth: She's a sweetheart though, and always tries to make the patient feel great about everything. I do love her to death!

My RE appt did not go well at all. They did an ultrasound and found a "significant ovarian mass" (it was twice the size of my uterus!). Doc says it looks like the endo is back. Also looks like the other tube may be damaged. I have to have a laporoscopy and hysteroscopy and if the tube is damaged they will have to remove it. No certain diagnosis until the surgery, so I am digging deep in the wellspring of faith to stay positive. If they remove the tube, that is pretty much the end of natural conception for us.

We're pretty low here tonight. I cried all the way home and even my husband, who is the most positive person I know, is pretty down in the dumps.:sad1:

The topper to this great day is that right after my appt, I had to take kitty to the vet. Lo and behold, my vet is pregnant. Sheesh!

  I'm so sorry your appointment didn't go well. Was the doctor able to schedule your lap or do you have to wait still?

Elaine I'll admit that I was always curious about IVF even before I knew that I would have to go through it. So cool of your doctor to let you do another ultrasound.

Rebecca YAY...not too much longer for your ultrasound.

I came back in tonight to :worship: Nicole. We used the ice trick for my shot tonight and it helped SO much!!! :worship: Now I just have to get him used to massaging the area after the shot is done. He's so gentle and careful that he's not really working it into the muscle.

 I am sorry you didn't hear good news. I do hope that the RE can help you in the end though. Hang in there

Kristy, what time are you going in tomorrow? And yep, I always knew I had a cool doc. I've been going to her since I was 16 or 17 (can't recall which) and I just love her to pieces. I think she tries to give everyone what they want, which I love.

I am so sorry GypsySue. Hopefully it isn't anything amd the surgery can clear it up

Elaine we have to be there at 7:45 tomorrow morning and I think the transfer will take place around 8:15. Either way I have to be up at 6am on a Saturday

thankfully I can come home and go back to sleep with my babies safely inside my belly :cloud9: :woohoo: :yay: :dance3:  :cool1:

GypsySue, I'm so sorry.

Kristy, good luck with your transfer. I stayed in bed, but just because of the OHSS. I have heard that moving around - not like running a marathon, but just being normal - is good because it increases blood flow and that's really important in the uterus. Who knows? Try a little of both. Rest, walk around, rest, walk around.....

I drank Gatorade watered down with ice. I ate pineapple, but couldn't bring myself to eat the core. I just couldn't do it. Someone suggested putting it in the blender with some yogurt and making a smoothie, but I was afraid it wouldn't grind up right and I'd choke.

DznyLvr, I hope the colonoscopy doesn't turn up anything bad. Don't worry about the test itself. Seriously, it's not that bad. I hope you get some answers soon.

GypsySue: I really hope that they can clear everything up and you get your little miracle.  Keep us updated :grouphug:

Kristy: Wow that is early for a Saturday!!! I hope your little embies find a nice spot to settle in for the next 9 months :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Carla so glad to see you stop in. How are you? How's precious little Katharine? Do you have more pictures to share with us?

Thanks for the notes. I'm going to really quiz the doc tomorrow and ask her if she was going through ivf what she would do as a potential mom..not as a doctor.
I'm starting to really like gatorade so I'm hoping to drink a bottle of that then a bottle of water and so forth.

So....I think I'm going to end up laying here in my recliner all day tomorrow. I need ideas for good chick flicks!! I just watched "Because I Said So" on Wednesday.

off to sleep now......

Kristy, I'm thinking lots of good thoughts for you! As for chick flicks HBO has been playing a lot lately. We've seen Monster in-law, You've Got Mail, Devil Wears Prada, Something New among others I haven't sat down to see. No real help here then.

Well today I went to get my blood tests... 14 VILES OF BLOOD!!:faint:
I felt dizzy afterwards, since I haven't eaten much cause of the other problem I'm having with my stomach.
I just ate some McDonalds..:)

I am so sorry :( I can't believe this is happening to you :(:sad2:

We went to Target late last night and it was hard for me to walk around. Within a span of 5 minutes, I saw 4 very very pregnant ladies. Hubby noticed me noticing and just gave me a hug.

We're going to Typhoon Lagoon in a little bit. I need some fun. My bewbies are so gigantic, heavy and sore that I am scared to death to see how bad AF is going to be tomorrow

14?? oh my goodness!!!!!! That's just cruel. I hope the McDonalds helps your stomach settle.

Gurgi I'm sorry. I know it totally sucks to see pregnant women everywhere. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that AF doesn't show up and all your systems point to a BFP!

Our babies were placed into my lining this morning :woohoo: I even have a picture of them that I'll scan in either tonight or tomorrow. One embryo is a 7 cell and the other is an 8 cell. Both are rated at .75 on the embryologist scale. They would have gotten a perfect score of 1 if the cells were completely round but they weren't. She said it really didn't matter...they look beautiful. We have a 50% chance of one or both of them sticking :yay:

So for now I'm relaxing in my recliner and just getting up to pee every hour or so. I've been drinking a lot of gatorade and water. Doctor recommended sticking with gatorade over water. Since I sit on my rump at work all day I have clearance to go back Monday.

Now I have a strange question. I know that dehydration cause uterine contractions but does laughing bother anything? I've been laughing at the tv and wasn't sure if it's okay or bad for them. :confused3

Good Luck Kristy. I am so soory that you are seeing pregnant woman everwhere. Isn't that always the case if you weren't trying you wouldn't see any pregnant woman.
