Since I started my period after going off B.C. It is killing me.
It is soooo heavy and the cramps are terrible!!!!!!!!!!
Is this the was periods normally start back after going off the pill?

I can't wait for this to calm down!

This happened to me, too, and the pain even continued for about a week after. Then I went to the beach in LA one day, and later that night it just stopped. I don't really believe the beach had anything to do with it, but it's a good excuse to go back!

I have to say....even though it stinks to have to deal with IVF, I am so happy I don't have to temp and pee on ovulation sticks. Just reading everyone talking about temp spikes gets my blood pressure going - no wonder I was a basket case, it's really stressful and I don't miss it.

Lisa, beta is the number indicating pregnancy. Anything over 5 is considered "pregnant", but the lower it is, the less chance there is that the pregnancy will be viable. The beta should at least double every 48-72 hours to indicate a healthy development. Progesterone indicates ovulation. Anything over 10 (15 on a medicated cycle) at 7DPO indicates a strong, healthy ovulation. I hope your ultrasound went well today!

I give up caffeine, but not of my own choice. The Lupron will make me sick at the mere sight of soda. I never drink coffee or tea, so I'm OK with that. It's just the diet soda. I guess the Lupron does me a favor by making me not want the stuff. My friend's DS is fine and she drank a HUGE iced coffee every day during her pregnancy. I think the thing with soda is the artificial sweeteners. My friend switched to regular soda - she figures she was going to get fat anyway, so why drink diet?!

The ultrasound is today at 10 am est. I tested today and am not ovulating yet. I guess the ultrasound will show how close I am to ovulation. After that I had to take some injection which I need to find out about but had trouble with the web site.

My right ovary is always more active than the left - we call the left the "underachiever". Toward the end, it perks up, but only after we call it a few names.

Ovidrel is pre-filled, so you won't have to mix it. It's pretty easy to do - just wipe with alcohol swab, let the area dry because it'll burn like a you-know-what if you don't, then jab it into the stomach. I didn't have any side effects from the Ovidrel. Not even a rash, which I get from the Pregnyl HCG.

Ovidrel isn't even that expensive. It's about $45.00, but it doesn't come generic, so the co-payment is usually the highest tier. Nice kick in the pants.

The other drug that they have does come generic but being last minute on a Sunday no one has it in stock. If this doesn't work then I can get the generic next time. I have to take the shot tonight. I got to the pharmacy and they saw they don't have the script. Was called into another CVS so now I have to meet the pharmasist at the original CVS to get the script-----I hate CVS I hate CVS I hate CVS

Sorry about that. Happened to a friend of mine. Fortunately for me, that wasn't something that happened. Mine gradually went back to being bad for me.

Hi everyone!! Hope all is well. Well, today will be the last QOTD from me, because I'm headed off for vacation in 2 days! Someone else feel free to take over the QOTD while I'm gone!

I'm praying that I don't get AF while I'm in WDW, but I'm packing HPTs and tampons- so either way I'm covered!!

QOTD: I can't even imagine how a child is going to affect our relationship. In one aspect, I think it will make us so much closer. But I worry that later, I will be the disciplinarian and dh will be the good guy (he's such a softie). And as exciting as having a child is, I can't help but wonder if we'll be shocked once it arrives, you know? It doesn't make we want a child any less- I can't WAIT to be a mom and see dh interact with our baby!! But, I know things around here will be less spontaneous and carefree. They'll have to be.

ok, I hope this is ok to post this question for anyone who can answer its. How early can you get morning sickness. Hubby and I are trying for our 2nd child and we bd'd one day last week and on sat. I should have Ovulated on sat morning.. this morning I woke up fine but i just went to go eat lunch and the smell of food hit, me and I almost puked. I am so nauseated right now, my eyes are watering... with my daughter I charted for 3 months before I got prego and I new I was pg by my chart. this time,i didnt chart mainly because the online place i charted now charges a huge fee to use their message board and they didnt even let anyone know, they just started charging one day. what do you think, is it too early to be morning sickness?
