I broke down and called this morning to ask if our 1 night was going to be affected and it was. We have/had 2 rooms at AKL on august 31st for 1 night after our WLV stay - a pool view and a Savanna view - told them we didn't want SSR as we are DVC members and have btdt so we had our choice between GF and YC - we chose the GF as that's where my niece wanted to stay.

I guess we'll just have to do AKL next time but at least we get to stay at a resort we haven't stayed at yet!!

Another refugee-

We were booked for our last 2 nights (aug21,22) as a surprise for DS. Savannah view room. We've since been moved to the Poly with a lagoon view. No extra cost.

An excuse for another trip is all this is!!

We had a pool view and a savanna view and ended up with a lagoon view and a club level at the GF.

We haven't been moved . . . . . yet. I'm holding my breath waiting for the call which I hope never comes. We really want to stay there but I am still prepared and have narrowed the hotels down to what I will take. I'll post back if I get the call.

I called because I couldn't handle the wait anymore! We had the rooms on the Friday night of the labour day weekend and there was no way I wanted to get stuck with nothing left for us!
