Any other Brand New Members?

DH and I are closing on our VWL contract this week and can't wait for our first trip home!

Anyone else brand new and hasn't yet stayed at a DVC resort?

(We've stayed at BW, BC and WL but never the villas)

Count us in! We just got word today that we were approved and all paperwork was in order. We close 8/12!!! We are taking our first trip "home" to VWL in late Aug.-even though our home is SSR. I can't wait! Congrats!

About a week ago? I don't know exactly.... We actually had 3 trips planned but moved things around, cancelled others. I am constantly on a quest to find the best/cheapest etc trip

Yes! We are taking our first trip "home" to OKW in September. We checked out the resort in April while we were at the Poly, and when I got home I knew that was where I wanted my "home" to be! We are so excited! We are staying in a 2BR villa since my Dad and his wife are coming. I think we will be spoiled since I had really planned on us usually staying in a studio while we only had DD3...my guess is that won't be happening!

Paid off DVC in June before any interest owed. Home resort is SSR. DW made ressie for studio at VWL. Plenty available at the April-May 7 month thingy. We are taking DN4, hence VWL and MK boat/bus. Have stayed on property many times in past, poly and wl are 2 favorites. DVC will bring a whole new feeling of belonging. Already set to eat at Liberty Tree Tavern on the night we go to MNSSHP. Hope they do not run out of turkey legs.

DH and I purchased 200 points in March @ SSR and will be visiting our home resort in March 2006.

We are also going to POFQ during Thankgiving - we booked before becoming members.

Put the deposit down on VWL today . . .

Wife and I have been visiting WDW since we were both kids. Now that we have three of our own, we figured it was time to secure roomier digs. Since we tend to alternate between AK and WL, VWL was the perfect fit for us.

We bought while we were on the 10 day Xmas cruise on the Magic in 2004. We'd been thinking about it for awhile - and decided to go ahead and do it. Our use year begins in June.


Our first DVC stay is for VB from July 31-Aug 7th. We can't wait!

I'm still in the waiting stage hoping that I'll be a "new member" in a few weeks.

I have never visited any of the DVC resorts, and only seen SSR from afar. I remember seeing SSR for the first time while I was walking around DTD. I was sold!

My first "home" will be at OKW, but I plan on adding on later (SSR and maybe BWV). BTW: I didn't think you could get "addonitis" until AFTER you became a member!

Me too! I'm so excited, after what seems like forever, closing papers have been sent back and the final countdown to close is on. I can't wait to try all the DVC resorts! Many trips to plan. Yipee!!!

Brand new BCV owners, but haven't closed yet. We've never stayed at a villa but will be spending 5 nights at VWL at the end of August (previously arranged trip on rented points). DH and I hope to travel home for the first time in the beginning of January with just one of our 3 sons in tow. I need a third set of grandparents to leave the baby with! We should have done this years ago, better late than never

We made our first ressies this week. We just bought OKW. I can't wait. I hope we love our home resort. Unfortunately we don't get to go until Jan.1 of this year.

Im a newbie too. Last month bought at BWV (Im still flippin' out about it!) and yesterday did a small add on at VWL. I cant wait to visit both!

hello we just bought at SSR 200 points. Close in August. We'll be going to OKW in aug and then SSR for Oct. oh, got another trip planned for 06 May for SSR, but I am thinking I might switch that to VWL if able. I am so excited, but I don't think I will dawn on me we are actually members now until our first stay. Happy to meet all of you!
