Any other Aussie posters ?

Just poking my head in to say that I hope all of you Aussies have a great trip to Disneyland. I will be visiting your fair country with Adventures by Disney in October and I can't wait!

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming...:goodvibes

Thanks again, Aussiemickeys. I think I'm a plan-a-holic ! LOL ! I purchased our 14 day parkhopper tickets through Expedia for $210., which includes a MM. We're staying at the DLH for the last three days, too.

Beans - thankyou :) I hope you enjoy your time here in Aus. It's a *stunning* part of the world, and October is usually gorgeous, weather-wise.

Cheers,
Sally :)

Rut roh !!! I think, having re-looked at it, that what I've booked is a 14 day city pass, with a park hopper option !!!!! ??????

I'm going to be on the phone to Expedia tomorrow - it's VERY VERY misleading on their website if that's the case.

*sob*

Oh no! Let us know how you get on:sad2:

We are getting a 5 day park hopper with our package. I am thinking to get the San Diego city pass which includes a 3 day hopper- because that will give us an extra MM. Probably cost us a little more but I think the extra MM will be worth it... Now I just have to figure a way to get us into toontown morning madness???

So good to hear from other aussies doing the same manic planning..

Anyone know if the NRMA in NSW is the same as AAA ?

I can't remember whose post it was on, but someone from either Qld or Vic said they had no probs with their RACV/RACQ card, got discounts as per AAA. It has the "Show Your Card AAA logo on the back" which should be accepted as a AAA card. As the NRMA card has the same I'd say it's worth a go.

Thanks for all replies. I didn't get onto Expedia today, as not only did I seem to have a case of "Bali belly", but I didn't want to call with kids at home from school (they don't know about the trip yet).

I've copied and pasted from Expedia what was listed for Disneyland, and ticket options (the dates are for the first part of our trip - we come back again after 4 days in Las Vegas)....

I hope that if it's the mistake I *think* I've made, that no-one else does the same.

We returned from our disneyland holiday 5 days ago, I also purchased the 14 day park hopper from expedia.com.au. It gave us one magic morning and it expired 13 days after our first visit.Just took voucher to ticket window and redeemed our 6 park hoppers no problem. Enjoy your trip

WOW ! Thanks for that ! So did the ticket give you 14 days of access to the parks, or did it include entry to other things like Universal Studios ?

Thanks again.

Cheers,
Sally :)

No not universal or zoo's ect just disneyland and california adventure. We purchased seperate tickets to universal through expedia.com.au Of the 14 days we entered disneyland 7 times . We found the best time to get most rides done was on a sunday night after the fire works, we stayed on until midnight to do things that had big lines during the day.

Thankyou soooo much ! I'm sooooo relieved *phew*.

Actually, Sunday is the one day of the week we won't be there LOL. But with 8 separate days that we'll be entering the parks, I'm sure we'll ahve ample time to see and do all that we want to.

Thanks so much again.

Cheers,
Sally :)

Hi all, I'm from NZ and planning our trip for oct 09 - it's nice seeing lots of us from this side of the world.

For those with kidlets can you please give me some tips for the plane trip - 12 hours is a long time :scared1: . They will be 3 and 5 at the time :) ATM we are flying with AirNZ so will have the personal tv screens etc and taking the dinner time flight.
