Any one with a Rainforest GC i need help.

I'm looking for someone who has a $25 rainforest Gift card;
I have redeemed mine back in 4/14 and have not recieved it yet.
I leave soon and there is no Rainforest around here, it I don;t get it by then it is no use to me. I just checked the my Points site and it still says it is pending, that means it hasn't been shipped yet.
Anyone interested in loaning me the one they have and iI will send you mine when it comes in. I would send you a check to hold until you recieve the one I have. I can give you names of people on this site who i have done favors for and can hopefully vouch I am an honest person.

Well if there is anyone out there who could do me this favor i'd be so grateful.

I don't have a GC but I have 1 extra VKL voucher ($31.00) that might help in case your card doesn't arrive.

I am down here until at least June 5th and am at Disney quite a bit [I have an annual pass and am having an absolute ball with the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot, especially the free (with AP or Epcot admission) Flower Power concerts. I've seen Davy Jones (the Monkees), The Nelsons (Ricky's identical twin sons that were 18 when he died), BJ Thomas (the voice is still there but is he ever shy!), Gary Puckett (has an ego that's for sure!) and am looking forward to Paul Revere and the Raiders, Arlo Guthrie and the Lovin' Spoonful...among others!]

Anyway, what I meant to tell you is, if you don't get your card, one of these vouchers can save you lots. I only have one extra one so that's all I can help with...but it gives you lots of steak/shrimp/stuffed lobster if that's what you like plus an appetizer, drink and dessert.

You know we had 2 RFC gift certs for our trip but ended up using the vouchers instead. They really are a great deal. Maybe you could use the voucher and the gidt card. I dont know how many of you are going but for us $25 didnt go to far, lol.
When are you leaving for your trip?? I did order my previous ones from MyPoints and it didnt take very long to get here.

Thanks for the voucher offer, but I think then I would have way too much food. There will be 4 of use, and I already have $50 in GC's. I was hoping the last one would get here on time. This would give us $75. Even if I got the voucher I would still be left with a $25 GC that I can't use. I was just hoping I could find someone who was going in July who would be willing to trade. If not I will see if I can sell it on ebay.

We are leaving in 11 days.

I also am looking forward to the Flower Power concerts. I am hoping to see the Turtles and Paul Revere.
Boy i need a vacation bad.

Actually they can be used at any Landrys owned restaurants.

Mine shows the following restaurants:

Kemah
Aquarium
The Crab House
Fish Tales
The Rusty Duck
Willie G's
Simms Landing
Landry's Seafood House
Joe's Crab Shack
Fisherman's Wharf
Cadillac
The Rusty Pelican
Rainforest Cafe

One of ours arrived too late to be used at WDW and we have a Joe's Crab Shack, so we used it there. Maybe you have one of these places where you live?

The ones I have on me say 12 months from issue date.
So it would be 12 months from now. Even then it says after 12 months they will deduct $1.50 per month.

Why not just spend your own money at the RFC and when you get the GC in the mail, just post it for sale on ebay, the disauctions or the AOL or Mycoupons swap boards?

The voucher are sold thru hotwire, search this site and you can read all about them. The lunch ones cost $31 and you can get a really good meal from what i understand that if you share right can feed a few people. Thing is I already have $50's worth of Gift cards and $31 more would be way to much food. I figure $75 should be just about right for 4 people.

Thanks for the link to the store locator, still the nearest one is over 80+ miles away.

I just looked at My Points account in the monthly listing it shows where my Rainforest was ordered on April 12 in ( ) under it, it states (06/11/04) do you think this is when they plan on shipping it? I never noticed this before when I ordered.

Can you switch your redemption to a webcertificate and use the webcerticate to buy a gift certificate from the RFC website?

The last time I ordered one from My Points for RC it came before the date that was listed. I just ordered a b&N gift cert and there was a date in June listed but now on the page I had bookmarked to check the status it says it was shipped and the date is gone from my account page. Take heart it may come yet!

Sammy was kind enough to help me. Now I just looked on my account page and the 6/11/04 is gone under Rainforest and my account doesn't show the points on hold anymore. I think it is on the way. hip hip horay.
