any one stayed in room5524

we requested a sph room 5020 or 5520 not open. so we waitlisted and today 5524 showed up in my reservation. I got happy then when I looked at the pitcure of room 5524 it looks like you caint see anything except two white things right outside the window. has any body stayed in that room and can you see much.

The "24s" are the most obstructed of the SPRs, so you will definitely see mostly the barrels. You'll have to decide whether the extra light is worth the obstruction (and also keep in mind that it's an adjoiner). Obstruction-wise, 5520 and 5020 are definitely the best, but since it's a freebie in any of those rooms, you have to take what you can get!

We stayed in that one & although it is definitely an obstructed view, I still would prefer it over an inside stateroom. I like to have SOME type of view - even if you have to look to the sides to see things.

We enjoyed the room.

That was one of the ones we had. Yes, from the outside it looked like there would be no view, but from inside it is fine. We felt so fortunate to have any view though. You absolutely can see the ocean, sky and islands. You just might be able to see those things without moving to a better location. It was a lovely room, plenty of sunlight, and beautiful scenery to see.
