I know my faimily is ready to have fun in the sun listen to music and meet the DIS family and some coffee at the cove while I can relax (Yah Right). Also, as my son puts it some foofoo drinks .

I'm am so ready for the cruise! I'm getting to the point where I'm tired of the planning and just want to get it on

But of course...until the ship leaves I'm be and waiting to meet you all!

I am just waiting to arrive in the U.S. My wife and I fly on July 15th. I am counting the days until then. I just found out yesterday that I do have to teach summer school in Korea and won't be able to come before then. I was wondering who all is staying at WDW before the cruise. My wife and I arrive on July 26th for 2 nights at the Contemporary (Tower Club) and then for the last night at POFQ. We may change the last night to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I think it is only $30 more. I noticed on the Disney Cruise website that they are no longer selling Cat. 12 for our cruise. I still have no room assingment and a GTY so I am hoping pretty hard. See you in about another 7 weeks.

We are back in Illinois and the chaos is in full swing!!!

Helen...are you still being held to your four week hiatus??? You will still be able to talk with us, right????

We are getting so close to sailing... ! I found some fun stuff at WDW for Pirate Night...go figure. Actually it is a little subdued, but I think it will work out okay. I am not sure which shirt I am going to wear. I have a pink tee with rhinestone skull and cross bones on it. Thinking to wear either black blazer and black pants with it. I would love to do the whole costume thing...and a few years back could have gotten the crew to do it with me. Well, they are at "particular" stages in life and dressing the pirate part is not in their repertoire!

Well, talk with you all later. Gotta go to the ortho...it is so odd being 40 and going through braces AGAIN!!!!!

Yes I am still being held to the Disney amnesty and yes I will still be able to talk to you guys

It starts 15th June which I think is next Thurs.

Finally we have had continous sun shine and its set to be a good weekend too. Iam looking forward to going out with friends on Sat to watch the world cup ( Englands 1st match)

Oh well Im just cooking tea so I'll have to go for now

Funny you mention braces Tif. I had braces way back when and now noticing that my teeth are shifting again....should have worn my retainers I was just thinking that I should call the orthodontist.

Just wondering how many of us are DVC members and where you own. We own at BWV 300 pts, BCV 100 pts and VWL 150 pts.

We have nephews grad party this weekend & baseball tournament so probably won't be around much this weekend. Have a great weekend

Well another day is nearly over (here in the uk at least )

I have just been thinking about postcards. It was mentioned a while back in this thread about us bringing postcards of our home town for everyone. I think we were going to write our home address on the back to keep in touch.

Have I got this right? Or was I dreaming this?

Let me know what you think anyhow.

Getting ready for England first world cup match tomorrow - where I'll be off to the pub with friends. We kick off @ 2pm which will be 9 am in the morning for you guys.

PS I had a real disney night last night. I watched the DCL DVD, followed by the WDW DVD then Dave had a Grand Caymen DVD which he go from a scuba diving exhibition. ( Making the most before my amnesty next Thurs ! )

thanks for the tip on quick reply. i was having trouble getting logged in at all!!!

we have been dvc since 1993. we have 480 okw, 350 bw, and 150 hh...i think. we upped our points three additional times. it was the best investment for us. funny thing is, the more points we seem to have, the more i need. isn't that awful?

the boys were out golfing today...18 in the morning and another 18 this afternoon. all three kids are out practicing chipping and putting right now. even though it is so cold, they are out working!
better run for now.

I'm finally beginning to work on T-shirts and a couple of door signs, plus tip envelopes for our stay at WDW.

We had 101 degree weather yesterday, with more for today and tomorrow. UGGGH! Luckily, my DS10 has just started INDOOR soccer....

Marci: We have the complete Opposite as far as weather here. This past week we have had weather in the 60’s. The weeks before that it was in the 80’s. This weather is going to make everyone sick. I cannot afford to get sick. I am not going to miss the cruise. Oh well. My husband made one sign for the door. I don’t know if he is going to do any more. We always were the same t-shirts on board. Ares will probably have something to do with MSOE or I have brand new Disney shirts in my basement. Have not decided yet. I forgot about the tip envelopes, thanks for the reminder.
A couple of years ago someone posted these cute little cards that we used on the cruise I have to see if I can find them.

Yes Flo, the match was quite poor but the result was good . We had a good time with our friends.

Thanks for putting the meet on page one - it seems a long time ago when we were posting then!

It is a very pleasent day here about 23 degrees ( low to mid 70's I think)
In LOndon its in the 30's (90's) and we have weather warnings as we are not used to it !

I have just lazed around in the garden with the dogs. I have ordered a childs paddleing pool for them.

Sally who is all black( with grey bits now 13ys) loves the sun and longs to sun bathe!
Floss the young one is fly catching and balancing on the frame and netting that covers our pond. I might ask the cirque du soliel if they want her as she would be brilliant with the tight rope.
Ben I think is just too hot. He keeps nudging me when I'm trying to dose, then when I sit up he does a very dramatic sigh and then lies down in the shade of a bush.

Dave is out scuba diving somewhere at sea. He is currently doing his 'resue diver ' course and today he told me as part of his exam, he has to find a diver @ the bottom of the sea, bring them both up safely, take their equipment of and pretend to do CPR. Hes been up and gone since 6am !!!

I finally sussed out how to use the port cams today - you can tell im by myself.

Oh well i'd better get going.

Hi Everyone! I know some of us have reservations at Palo's but I was woundering when? We have them on Monday ( July 31st for 11:00 brunch and on Thursday August 3rd at &:00 for Dinner. I can not wait, especialy for Lobster on Thursday.
