any one make a 10:15 flight

You might be cutting it too close. You still need to check in at MCO unless you check your bags at the pier.

I also agree this is cutting it close. It is within the realm of possibility but if there are any delays at all, you may miss your flight. IMO it is just not worth the rushing and stress when disembarking. - Mike

Kep in mind..............

If your flight is leaving that early, I don't think they will let you check your luggage at the port. So..... you will have to check in at MCO.

That would be cutting it close. We skipped breakfast, took all our luggage off the ship with us, cleared customs in seconds, took the Disney bus but had no wait (we were the last two let on) and were able to make a 10:30 flight. I believe we got to MCO at 9:35. If there is traffic, any problem at all clearing the ship, any problems with your luggage, any line at all at the airport for checkin or security you could easily miss a 10:15 flight. Book the later flight and when you get to MCO try to get a standby seat on the earlier one. We initially were booked on a 12:30 flight, but Jetblue changed us to standby for the flight two flights before ours. Most airlines won't charge to do this either.

I was in the same boat when I went to buy my air tickets. I could have done 10:40a or 2:40p and we chose 2:40p so as not to risk missing a flight.

We missed a flight this past December and it was a nightmare!

Just got back from the Magic yesterday. Our flight out was 11:30. We had time to spare so we didn't feel stressed and rushed to get to the plane.

Now our transfer picked us up at 8:45 am. You can get off as early as 8:00. So in theory you could make a 10:15, but it may add stress to your day.

A couple of years ago, A family traveling with us was able to catch a 10:30 (I think), but it was hectic and it was pre- 9/11 so not as tight on security. Now this was not their orginal flight, they just decided to see if they could get out earlier since their original flight didn't leave till later that night. So they weren't really trying (didn't get off the ship as early as possible).

In April, we completed our cruise on the Wonder on 4/18 , which was the end of spring vacation week for many, (us included) and the airport was very crowded. DH lost sleep the night before, worrying about us making our 11:58 flight. Turns out we were fine - disembarked at 7:30 and we were in MCO by 8:40. The Disney process is superb, and if you are using one of the airlines that sets up outside of the Disney terminal in port, it is flawless - our luggage was placed on the Delta truck and we were given our boarding passes right there, and took the DCL bus to MCO. That being said, there is always room for error or delay....such as an auto accident tying things up on the way, etc. You know - Murphy's Law! I had been advised that Disney does not recommend you book a return flight any earlier than 11:30. It just means extra stress for you, which you certainly don't need after such a wonderful trip!:sunny:
