Marriott doesn't typically offer any general discounts. They do have many corporate rates, but you need to work at the company to use their rate. And they occasionally offer promotions for specific hotels or platinum discount rates for certain hotels, but there are no general discount rates for Marriott that I am aware of. I usually end up staying at a non-Marriott property for this reason.

In case you might be interested in other properties, Hilton does have a code available for public use that takes 20% off the best available rate (if the code rate is available). This is their 'MVP' Rate, and the only requirement for use is that you have a Hilton Honors number (free to join).
0560041604 is the code for Hampton, Doubletree, Embassy Suites
N0041604 is the code for Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, and select Hilton Grand Vacations Club locations

There is also a IHG (Holiday Inn, etc) Friends & Family rate that a DIS'er posted on another board and said that anyone is welcome to use:

Check the facebook page of the particular hotel you are looking at. When deciding on a hotel last winter, we found a buy one night get the next half off promotion.

I just used a Marriott AAA promo code of Z2H for a hotel in DC. It is supposedly good through the year and the rate I got was less than just clicking on the AAA box on their site. Just leave the AAA box blank and plug Z2H into the corp/promo code box.

May or may not work depending on date or location, but hopefully you will get lucky.
