Hey everyone!
I'm moving to Lexington this summer and so I'm looking for a few tid bits of information.

First off I'm looking for employment I am a teaching assistant with Special education and I know that you need a paraeducator certificate which I am taking the test this coming monday but I cannot find any kind of private Sp-ED schools in lexington everything I've found is in Louisville which is just way to far to travel for work for me does any one know of any that I can look at?

Second my dog goes to doggy day care twice a week here and I want to enroll him when I move he's a senior citizen (a 10yr old golden retriever) so I need to find a really good vet and a really good day care that has a playgroup...

Thanks everyone!

Well, hello!

I'm in Lexington and just happen to be a special-ed para with the public schools. You do not need a certificate, but you need to have a certain number of college hours (not sure how many - many paras here have a bacholors degree). It can be tough to get hired on. Many paras substitute for a while first.

We take our dogs to Clays Mill Vet Clinic and have been happy with them. No idea about doggy day cares, though.

I'm in Lexington and took my dog to Dog's Day for about a year (every day). She still begs me to take her back (lol). Great place!
