i'am facing this prospect but won't know for sure until dec. So if any of you have had this surgery please ley me know what i can expect in terms of recovery , and most imprtantly pain:scared1: please let me know of your experiences. I'm so sick of constantly swollen salivry glands and infection.

I had one removed a couple years ago. It was my first surgery and really the only issue that I had was with the anesthesia. The surgery itself was pretty quick and I was sent home about 3 hrs after surgery. I had some pain pills to take (oxycodone I think) and I really only needed them that night. The next day I was feeling okay, just a little tired, and was up and about. For me, it was a quick recovery and minimal pain. I hope things go well for you!
