Any one else having trouble seeing and hearing the Audio-Animatronics at Pirates and Hunted Mansion

My hearing is getting a little worse as I get older. I rode HM and PotC a couple of times during my trip a week ago, and they were fine. However, the past couple of times I've been on Jungle Cruise, the audio there is a garbled mess and very difficult to understand. Maybe I was sitting too close to the motor on JC?

I have always had a hard time hearing the audio on JC. Unless I'm sitting right next to the driver, I only hear about half of what they're saying - and I think I get that half because I've been on it so many times and already know what they're saying! I think the sound system on those boats needs to be updated.

No offense intended, but this exact issue is how I learned that my hearing was changing a little as I was getting older. It became harder to understand spoken word portions inside dark rides at Disney. I noticed it on both coasts (although I first noticed it on Indy in Anaheim.) Using something like Apple AirPods Pro 2 on Transparency with the accessibility enhancements for boosting whatever part of the range is hard to hear might help for those experiencing this the way I did.

No offense taken. Because of other issues I took a panoply of ear related tests the results indicated I have perfect hearing. I often hear things no one else hears. This is why I posted it. Yesterday I went to epcot and rode the planet earth ride and the sound was pitch perfect. I never wear ear pods or headphones.
On the other hand my vision does not work in the dark and that could account for the reduced visibilty in the attractions.

Well there is that but I did not want to pile on as it was the first time in 11 years that I was in the parks.
Some have argued it is age that causes difficulty hearing (it is not in my case recently tested) but even if it was, Disney should give hearing disabled attendees a way to enjoy the attractions. Whatever the cause and whatever the age and whatever the reason it is an accessibility issue at its core.

They do have devices to assist with those who have difficulty hearing., but there is only so much you can do on the actual attraction because you can't just keep turning the volume up. Otherwise it ends up too loud for everyone else, including those who have sensitivities for too loud noises.
