any OKW Golf info/Deals?

What is the name of the OKW golf course & what is the best price to play for members, we will be there next week? Thanks so much for any info, this will be our first time home & we are bringing my parents whom have never even stayed on-site before, also our fist time during the holidays & with new DD (almost 5mos.) & her older sis (2 ½ yrs.), you know we are giddy with excitement!!! I can't give you specific information about the golf right now, because I am not near my member guide, but I know there are special prices for members and guests. The golf Course is Lake Buena Vista. The club house is near DTD.

Thanks for the fast info ~ my husband found a $50.00 twilight rate starting at 2:00pm, I am going to call & see if I can get them a tee time. Also, we will be back within the year & he will golf again, is there any annual pass discount, although I can’t imagine that it would be any less than the $50.00? I had a tee time for DH and I (twilight rate) at LBV one day next week. They called a couple weeks ago to tell us that LBV golf course is only open on weekends this time of year (I'd guess until the actual holiday week and then it'll open again). Other 18 hole Disney courses ARE open during the week, but I'm not sure which ones. We were bummed as we have never golfed at Disney and I've finally golfed enough this past year to feel comfortable playing 18 holes there. Oh well - some other time. Just thought I'd pass this information along. We'll be golfing at Oak Trail, the nine hole walking course, instead.

We didn't answer your original question - the name of the golf course that winds through OKW is Lake Buena Vista.

There is a discount golf program for DVC members, but it is not something that DH and I would take advantage of... you buy a DVC golf membership for $85 that is good for one year. For this you receive special per round pricing and discounts on lessons. You can read all about it on the member web site. We don't go often enough to make it worthwhile to spend the $$ on the membership.
