The folks at the WDW Special Events Office said a letter would go out to registered Conventioneers by the end of April. It's well into May, and I was just curious if anyone has gotten this letter yet. Living in the country and having to carefully check my until-recently-life-threatening-curbside mailbox for often-slow-to-arrive mail (Colorado is third-slowest in the country for rural deliveries), I know I will be one of the last to get it...
While we Conventioneers can make a party anywhere and anytime with anything, I am getting a little concerned that this year's event is becoming a hastily-arranged, minimal-budget affair. We're only three months away from the event and still no word on workshops, merchandise pre-ordering, final schedule, etc. This is very unlike previous conventions at WDW where we would know practically everything by now except for our banquet table number! So my thanks to all the folks arranging the pre-event happenings...you are helping to foster the "true Disneyana Convention spirit"!
