Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

I wonder if the tickets I see on MDE (that allowed me to book FP+ and personalize magic bands) are a remnant from the package I booked (and cancelled) with Disney after booking again through travelocity.

I canceled the Disney package over a week ago and was fully refunded my deposit. If my tickets on MDE are a remnant...well, I'm past the date I needed to pay for my trip in full and obviously haven't, and I know it takes a little time for Disney to actually cancel ressies that aren 't paid for. SO, maybe my tickets etc. will 'disappear' from MDE in a day or two. But I did chose the 'link my tickets' option and put in my confirmation number from travecity, so maybe it worked.

I will find out soon, lol.

If it took your travelocity number, that sounds promising, but I wouldn't want to show up at the park and find out those fastpasses are linked to other tix that you don't have. Is there a way you can call tech support to confirm?....407-939-7765.
I tried again and called tech support tonight. The CM tried REALLY hard to help me. He even put me on hold while he checked with another CM who tried to help. I was on the phone for 50 mins, but still wasn't able to get them linked. He also said he worked for a different travel agent for 5 years, and they don't do the exchange with Disney until closer to the ressie.

Yet another " how will this work?" Question. We are at WL from October 30-November7. No Magic Band testing as far as I know. But then we move to Contemporary from Nov 7 - 10. Magic band test resort as of now. Will we have Magic Bands for the second part, but not the first? Once we get our bands for the second part, can't they be loaded with the information from the first part of the vacation? Or, are we doomed to cards and bands and paper Fastpass as well as FP+?? My brain is throbbing!!

Rosie..... Fyi, I was able to customize magicbands this weekend. It's just the fastpasses that I can't do.

Were those tix there when you hit to link? If so, do you show two sets of tix or one set of tix? That might help you figure it out. :confused3
 

I have reservations at AoA Sept 30-Oct 6. I just checked on MDE. I looked under my account and clicked on Magic Bands. It said I had 5 days left to customize. If I hadn't seen this thread, I wouldn't have known about it since I didn't get an email about the bands.

Wasn't able to make Fast Pass Plus reservations though. Am I right in thinking you need to have your tickets linked to MDE before you can do
FP Plus?

Yes, tix must be linked. That's my problem....can't get them to link.
 
In FP+ selections, how do you change BOTH the time and the experience?

I can only figure out how to a) cancel ALL FP+ selections for a given day, b) change the time of one experience, c) change the experience to one of the same time.

It seems like--and this is just a guess--that if I say I want to change an experience the only options it gives me are things that are available at that time.

I'm just fiddling around with it so that I can change it if Fantasmic! or MSEP/Wishes becomes available for my dates.
 
Staying at POP Oct 19-23...had the MagicBands in my account & customized them. Was able to make some FP+ ressies. When I logged in today, my Magic Bands are GONE, like it never happened....this happening to anyone else??

Glad I saw this thread. Staying at POR Oct 4-11. Just signed in and was able to customize our bands. Problem: We have two rooms...how do I get access to second room?

I'm not sure, but isn't there a spot on MDE to link friends and family? When I called tech support, they checked to make sure my family was all linked with my ressie. ....Is everyone linked....or maybe I am misunderstanding what you're asking....getting tired :-).
 
We are REALLY hoping to get MB's for our upcoming trip. I've become a bit obsessed:) We have the free dining package with tickets booked at CBR 10/26-11/3. I've read through this thread over the past couple of days and of course there's some conflicting info. One person said they are at CBR in October and have MB's, which doesn't seem consistent. Another said IT told them that all resorts are scheduled to roll out on Nov 1. What does this mean for a stay that starts in Oct and ends in Nov? I am considering making a room only reservation for 10/25 at Pop to get MB. We need a hotel room anyway the night we arrive so it seems like an easy solution. Thoughts? Thanks in advance for any advice!!!

I don't mind doing the old fashioned FPs or doing last minute ones at the part via wifi and my laptop once I have my tickets. (if that's possible)..but .my kids would be much more disappointed in not getting their personalized bands, so it's nice to know that's an option of travelocity tickets don't link.

I'll call tech support tomorrow to see if I need to unlink the old tickets or if I'm good to go.

For those who have customized bands, have any shipped yet? How long did it take after you customized for your bands to ship?
 
We are at Pop from Oct. 23-28 and were able to customize our bands and pick FP this past Friday!!!! We are so excited!!! For the MNSSHP I just picked three FP from 4pm-7pm since they stop at 7.

Amazing, we had already finished our fast pass selections for our days and just now from your tip went in and linked our MNSSHP tickets to MDE and selected FPP for 3 attractions from 4 to 7!
We are usually AP holders but this year did not renew, only purchased 5 day tickets but thanks to you got an extra set of FPP!
I am in awe of your awesomeness!
 
I just tried to get mine shipped, said I have until Sept 4 to customize so I guess I have to wait until then to get it shipped? Doesn't give me an option...
