Any nurses/med techs out there tonight?

As posted before, I was in a rather bad car accident on Wed. At the hospital they did xrays on my foot and my neck. My knee was hurting me but there was a huge bump/bruise and they figured it was just beat up. I went to the doctor for a follow up yesterday and he said the same thing. The thing is, now that I am starting to put some weight on the foot, there is a spot directly on my knee cap that feels... weird. When I walk, it feels like something it hitting it with every step although nothing is near my knee. And when I touch it, right below that spot is totally numb. It doesn't have the "sore" feel like the rest of my knee right there, it almost has like a bee sting kinda feel. My next appt is not until Wed. Should I wait that long? Do the symptoms sound familiar to anyone? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
