Not sure where to post, so move if need be.
It's August, so when will Disney raise the tickets again? My bet is by the end of August and then before the end of Sept they will bring in the prices for Fast Passes just in time to make a killing for the 50 anniversary.
Star Wars cost , what a joke. Disney is going after the rich.

With the demand pricing and date-based passes, ticket prices are already increased for certain times of the year. I don't think we will see a significant increase for the 50th because Disney already baked it into the cake.

Paid FP is a different story. I fully expect that it will be up and running well ahead of Oct. 1.

I totally agree with the former, but the latter… I don’t know. With masks back to being a requirement indoors, I’d be shocked if they started FP’s back so soon (paid or not) 😳

NOt so sure. Disney has fl resident discounted passes thing going now. I had already got tickets or I would buy up a bunch. as you are not locked in to using them by certian times like you are on 3-4 day passes now.

Has there been anything announced by Disney indicating there will be a paid FP program at WDW?

No, Disney has not said a paid FP program is coming to WDW. Speculation that it will derives from its decision to adopt a similar program for the park in Paris, and from the general belief that the modern Disney will always do whatever it can to make guests pay a lot more.

Not sure I really care if a paid option is introduced if it costs the same as the prices they are charging in DLP. I can't imagine paying $17 for one FP to experience an attraction on top of admission. Don't think a lot of others would either. If I hadn't done RotR already, I MIGHT pay it for that once. MAYBE. :)

Those tickets expire Sep 17, 2021. That's a good clue as to when new pricing is coming...

So the tickets are priced out through Dec 2022, I believe. Those prices are not fixed, right? Meaning Disney can and probably will increase prices at any point? Guess I haven't bought in awhile and only remember when the cost of a multi day ticket usually went up around fall.

Yes, my theory is that Disney can (and probably does) raise dated ticket prices gradually as time goes on, instead of announcing an overall increase all at one time. Only a theory, of course - I have no insider knowledge.
