Any news on the train?

I was watching a vlog today and could swear a heard the train in the background (not the riverboat). Someone else commented on hearing it too. Anyone hear anything that would explain this?

I think they either just run the train backstage or play sound effects. I heard it while walking to the turnstiles earlier this year.

I just saw that even though the train won't be running for a while yet they are testing it. I wonder if that is why I heard the whistle in that video.

Until the outside of Tron is done and the tunnel is finished, I don't expect to see the train running. Hoping it's before Tron opens, but not believing it will happen.

It's just crazy that they have had the train down for this long. Seems like they should have done whatever they could to get it open asap. Especially should have been open for the anniversary.

Yeah, the train went down a week or two after our first ever trip. Can't believe 3 years later, and 2 more trips for us, it's still down lol. Looks like with those pictures from the tweets the other day as well as testing that they're getting close enough with the Tron construction that hopefully it means the train is back soon, but probably not til spring/summer at the earliest. It's on the refurbishment schedule for the length of the available hours into mid February.

Agreed. We were there in 2019 and the train was already down due to this construction. Seems if they knew construction would take that long (even without the covid situation), a better plan would have been to reroute the train (even if only temporarily) so it could continue to operate. The train used to be a very convenient way to get to the front of the park from the far end of MK instead of having to walk the entire length of the park to exit.

Hopefully back for guests soon but not til Tron is completed.
still sad we have to wait. .
Gosh how will they control that line? Would be mean to be virtual but will be a challenge .

Actually, there are reports the train will be on track this week for testing only.

Just saw that reported today that they will be starting to test the train.
Sadly, it will not be running for guests until Tron construction allows it.
