Any news on AKV Referb

Have there been any whispers or hints of this referb? Something at the December meeting perhaps? I know it’s due for a full referb. I hope it’s similar to the hotel side and includes a pull-down bed instead of the fold out.

Been curious about this too. If they do it like the current BRV refurb, they won't announce a thing and work will just start one day out of the blue.

They seem to be committed to the pull down beds (thank goodness), so I think we can count on that being part of the refurb whenever it happens. My guess in the spring of next year after BRV is done, but I have no idea.

Boardwalk has plans for next year, they are blocking boardwalk view rooms starting September.

Yeah. But given the BRV debacle, and that we have BWV, BLT, AKV and the THV due for full, and BCV owed a refresh, the odds on it all happening seem pretty awful. At least one, probably two will slide into 2024.

I'm looking forward to the Murphy beds being at AKL. Way more comfortable than the pullout couches.

I can't wait for the murphy beds. I hate making my adult guests sleep on the pullout couch. I will probably book 2 studios instead of a 1 bedroom just to avoid this.
