Any news of when Tchoup Chop will open?

We shall be in Orlando October 12 through November 2, and I would love to eat here. I e-mailed Emeril's via the website about a week ago to ask when it is scheduled to open and when they would be taking reservations, but I've heard nothing.

I don't think it will be open by then. I am also waiting for an email by RP concierge. They thought maybe by the end of the year. If I hear anything I will post.

I was at the RPH on Friday Oct. 4 for lunch at the 'Islands' restaurant, the only place to get a meal at RPH, beside the bar: 'Jakes?' We walked by the empty, but under construction Tchop Chop rest. It still didn't have the dry wall up yet, and had only a skeleton of an interior. I am sure it won't be open till at least Dec.

Yup, I just heard back from RP. They are saying the *hope* it will open by the end of December.

Too many places to eat and too little time, anyway. Trying to look on the bright side here! Not sure that I'm convincing myself.....

Yes....you won't go hungry. The Islands Rest. served a good burger. Emeril's is my favorite though if you can get in.
