Hi everyone, hope you all had a fabbie xmas and have some great plans for new years eve:goodvibes

Was just starting to think about what my new years resolution should be....apart from not breaking them after 2 days:lmao:

I have so many things that they should be like quit smoking, lose 20lb I put back on this year, save money every month etc. So was just curious if anyone else had come up with something original or maybe not original but you are determined to do:thumbsup2

im dieting :rolleyes1 and because everyone thinks im a total lush ive decided to give up alcohol for 3 mths :rotfl2:

Not making any proper ones this time around - I did pretty well with the few I made last year so I'm giving myself a year off! ;) :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

It's not really a resolution but I do hope to make 2009 the year of seeing friends, old and new. However, if life gets in the way (like it tends to) so be it...

Good luck to everyone who makes 'em... :flower3:

Mine is to lose the stone i put back on and stop booking Disney holidays lol.

oh where to start i have list as long as my arm:rotfl:

but mostly im going to -
1 lose weight and keep it off
2 improve my fitness - take some excersise not just sit on the sofa
3 to be more confident - im rather shy and so i can come across as being rude because im to shy to join in conversations.
4 to spend more quality time with the kids
5 to stop worrying about what people think of me and just be myself
6 to be mosre positive about things

oh god i sound like a real misery gits:rotfl:

pretty much the same as me :wizard:
good luck.

1 resolution i will make is to go to Florida in 2009 ;)
seeing as ive a trip booked in May i may just manage that one :rotfl:

I made three last year ~

1) to book a WDW holiday
2) to have a new puppy
3) to lose some weight

Well, I managed the first one as we will be in WDW this time next year :yay:

We did start looking for a new puppy but decided against it as our two are really close and we don't want to upset the relationship between them by introducing another one at the moment

So that left the weight one which unfortunately I failed on  so this year I am going to make sure I keep it. :woohoo: ;)

well they all sound very similar to my aims, apart from giving up booze for 3 months, not a chance, good luck natalie!:scared1: and somehow i will get back to florida in 2009, it has been a year which i know isnt much compared to some of you but i need my happy place!!

I am definiately going to lose 20lb, i did it before and i can do it again, and i would like to pay all my bills on time. that might be enough to be getting on with:lmao:

Good luck to all of you, will be seeing some of you on the dieters thread by the sounds of it:thumbsup2

I always fail whenever I make new years resolutions...

However my goals for this year....;) (maybe if I word it diferently I will achieve them :lmao: )

1. To lose weight
2. To check all our financial affairs, such as insurance policies, savings, utility suppliers etc to make sure they are all current & the best option. :faint:
3. To write a will.
4. To totally finish decorating our house & declutter it!!!!!
5. To either finish or make a good start on our back garden redesign.

I think thats enough to get on with!

Here goes.

1. To lose weight and keep it off.

2. Take more exercise, to start with walking more.

3. To cook a new recipe for my family every week.

4. To get around to re-design and decorating the lounge now that the girls are less messy.

5. Do more cooking with the girls (they might stop nagging me ;) )

6. De-clutter my storage and re-fill it:lmao: (I already started this one yesterday trying to find room for more toys).

Good luck everybody:thumbsup2

Main one is to sew more (first completing my many many outstanding projects!) and also learn to embroider and applique. I really enjoy it but I always seem to get distracted by the internet :rolleyes1 Also to get a full-time permanent job that I enjoy (on a long-term assignment right now but I can't rely on it) and to start exercising regularly again as I find i'm more motivated when I do.
