I will be heading back in 2006 and was wondering if anybody knows of any new rides or refurbishments that are going to occur within that time frame? Although I love the parks the way they are, it would be nice to have something new to visit as well.

An E-ticket is expected in IOA in the coming years but nothing has been announced.

What do you mean by an e-ticket? And what kind of attraction will it be?

I really wish they'd add something to Seuss Landing. I get so tired of riding those same three rides, but my kids love them!

Long ago, amusement parks sold tickets for their rides-kind of like how fairs do. The tickets had different grades. A tickets were for small, easy rides. E tickets were for the major rides. Anything referred to as an "E-ticket" attraction is considered a major attraction.

I don't get the e-ticket thing? Why would they sell tickets? Does that mean you get free or reduced entry? Otherwise, why would you pay for something that you already get with your entry price?

That's the point. The attractions didn't simply come with park admission back then. Every attraction had a separate ticket value. You payed to get into the park, and then you'd use the appropriate ticket on the attractions you wanted to see. I don't actually have experience with this system seeing as I wasn't even born yet when they were doing this. I just know that's the way they did it. And when I say they, I mean Disney. Universal never used this system. E-ticket is just a theme park term for a major attraction now. The new ride won't actually be a separately ticketed attraction.

Nothing official yt, but I would expect something new to go into the recently closed Triceratops Discovery Trail at IOA.
