Any new info on Mission space

I will be at WDW from May 11-18, and was just wondering if anyone knows if Mission space will be open by then. I also want to know how bad are the crowds during the star wars weekend at MGM.

Unfortunately not; it looks like it will be late summer at the earliest. There's always a chance of a soft opening long before the official opening (whenever that may be), but with all the problems they appear to be having it does not look like it'll be ready by May.

That's true! When Rockin Roller Coaster in MGM opened a few years ago, it didn't open until the end of July/beginining of August. However, that year on our trip at the end of June, CM's were asking people if they wanted to test ride the coaster. Of course my DH was thrilled to give it a go, and was able to ride the attraction on two separate days.
