Any New Info about the Disney Treasure?

So, no, there's no source. It's all "rumors" and speculation based on the short announcement video that showed characters from Coco and Haunted Mansion in the porthole windows.

I believe I referred to it as a rumor in my post.

However, I don't discredit WDWNT like some of you, but that's a topic for another day.

Disney is really good about providing special, separate places for the kids. You might be surprised at how little you'll see of them.
Yes! We just got off of the Wish Monday. We have 3 kids, but my husband and I left them behind for our first cruise ever to survey how we liked it before we were trapped on the open ocean with all 5 of us 😂 we loved it, and surprisingly rarely saw kids. We did gravitate toward adult only areas like the quiet cove and bars, adult exclusive dining, alcohol tastings, but we hung out mainly at the front of the quiet cove section on the loungers so we could watch the Funnel vision too so it technically overlooked the lower family pool decks and still, it was not overrun with kids or noise even, but still gave us a healthy dose of Disney! We loved everything about it. It of course seemed very kid friendly, but my husband said he thinks we keep cruises for us and stick to the parks with the kids lol.

At this point almost everything is rumor. Very little actual information has been released by Disney about the Treasure yet. I want to say all that's been really announced is the name, what's going to be on the back, atrium statue, adventure theming for character outfits (minnie), and I want to say somewhere it was announced that she'd be sailing fall 2024 but I could be wrong on that piece.

Everything else is rumor. One thing I will say tho is often these rumors come to happen. Not always but more often than not the rumor is true or partially true.

Going back to the videos I could find of when DCL was announcing the Wish most of the characters seen in the videos are somehow tied into the ship.

All Disney/DCL has said officially is that she will sail in 2024. Fall has been a popular speculation/rumor, but others say winter/closer to Christmas. So all that official is 2024.

I wonder who it is that posted this because this isn't what Disney is saying publically on its instagram that the Treasure will set sail in 2024.
That is Fiscal Year 2025. Disney's fiscal year turns over October 1.

ETA: that actually helps us narrow it down a bit. If DCL social media says 2024, and this says FY 2025, we can look at where those two overlap. That's October 1 (start of FY25)-December 31 (end of 2024). So, the Treasure should set sail sometime in that window (barring any delays).

Yeah, it's odd that only the ships are referred to during Fiscal Years but nothing else.

I really am chomping at the bit for them to open sailings. We’ve been holding off booking a Fall 2024 cruise waiting for them to announce the Treasure sailings. Maybe I should just go ahead and book something in case the Treasure is delayed…

Interesting to note that list did not include the FW Cabins, which I thought were opening next summer.

We went ahead a booked a Dec cruise '24 already, so we'll be looking to sail in the spring or early summer. I am almost glad I locked myself out lest I be tempted to cruise on her before the kinks are worked out again. We did not enjoy being guinea pigs for the Wish... :rolleyes1

Yes, and the DVC FW Cabins have disappeared from the DVC website and some other places, too. Hopefully they’re just maybe postponed to 2025 and are not going the way of Reflections!

Unbelievable awaits! Tune in to a virtual grand reveal event August 30 at 11 a.m. EST for a special look at what’s on board the all-new Disney Treasure.

For those without Twitter or unable to see the video is Narrated by an Arthur Quinn and the destinations pinpointed on the map are in Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and Brazil

The points on the map are Saudi Arabia (Magical realms), Mexico and Brazil. Mexico makes sense for the rumored Coco Restaurant. The Saudi Arabia magical realm could be linked to the Agrabah themed Great Hall. Brazil is either Three Caballeros' Jose Carioca (the Magic at one point had a Brazillian themed restaurant called Carioca's between 2013 and 2018) or a misplaced arrow for Columbia leading to Encanto??

Also, do you think Arthur Quinn is an SEA member, as he signed the invitation Yours in Adventure like SEA members do? I cannot wait for the Treasure, as it feels really unique compared to the other ships
