Just curious. I've been wondering if I'm the only one here. That, and I'm kinda bored.

I've heard of it, but I have no clue what it is.

i am sorry to say that no, i am not a naruto fan. everytime i attend a convention i cringe at the over abundance of naruto-whomevers running around. i just dont see what the fuss is about :guilty:

'scuse me if I seem rude but,WHAT?!

Heh, I expected that reaction from at least a few people. Naruto is an anime show. It's been around for a while, but not THAT long as far as I know.

And DolfieDreams, I'm sorry to hear that! Of course, you're entitled to your opinion. My question is, is it all the fans that bother you, or you've watched the show and you genuinely just really don't like it?

its both.

at first, when seeing the millions of bright orange ninjas running around, i thought "wow, this show must be THAT good". i didnt have the opportunity to watch it until it started showing on the cartoon network. so i admit, i made my judgement more on the fans at first than on the show. i didnt like how crazy, obsessive, and i guess "club-like" or seperated they all seemed to be from the rest of the anime/video-game community. so when it did come on tv, i sat down when they were doing a marathon i think around new years eve, and decided to give it a chance. i'll admit, i like the mythogical references, and i think sasuke is pretty and gaara is darling, but i think thats where my like for it stops. it just seems repetitive and over-done to me.

this isnt at all saying theres anything wrong with naruto or its fans. i do adore the animation and the story's actual base isnt so bad. its just not my style. i am glad to see youre an anime fan (even if just a naruto one) too. :goodvibes

and to help everyone else out, naruto is an anime. or a "cartoon from japan".

i personally don't watch it but some of my friends do and whenever they talk about it im like can we talk about something i understand too?? but yeah i hang around with dorks......the drama dorks as our school calls us...

Ok, NOW I know why you're turned off to it. You watched it in English. I HATE it in English. It's 100x better in Japanese. But, I'm not going to be annoying and try to change your mind. You like Gaara and Sasuke, which is really cool. :cool1: And I like most other anime too! I used to watch Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, and DBZ when they were on TV. Sadly, they aren't anymore. :sad1:

Animie is okay. I tried to get into Naruto, but I'm not sure when it's on. Can someone please tell me how to say animie? My friend keeps on saying "You're saying it wrong!!" And he gets mad at me.

Anime is pronounced "an-uh-may." And Naruto is usually on Cartoon Network on Saturday nights, but it's much better in Japanese with English subtitles.

Oh, my brother watches that and he is obsessed! I holnestly don't get it and I barely know how to pronounce some of the names of the ninjas on that.:goodvibes

I will agree, Naruto is 100% better in Japanese.

I found it a while ago when I picked up a manga copy of it. I found out that they would be airing the tv show on cartoon network. I got bored because they didn't air the episodes fast enough so I looked around the internet and found all of the episodes in Japanese and started watching them.
