Any must do's in December?

Are there any restaurants that you must visit in December? Looking for great decorations or special touches. It is our first Dec trip and I am going solo with DD5 and DD8 (husband is out of vacation and we are DVC members).

In December, I found the Breakfastasaurus to be fun, the characters are dressed up for the holidays, as was the restaurant. You can't go wrong with any of the restaurants in the resorts--we didn't get any in because it was too short a trip and we didn't leave the parks--it wouold give you the ability to see all the great reort decorations. THere are so many things to see and do in December that the 5 days we had just was not enough to see all the decorations, parades, lights, candle light processional, Santa's around the world, etc.

The Grand Floridian is beautiful around the holidays, so I would vote for the character breakfast or dinner at 1900 Park Fare. You definitely need ressies. All the resorts are really decorated nicely, so any of the restaurants at the resorts are nice.

Do not miss the Osborne Family Light Show in MGM-just amazing with snow bubbles! We did not get to see the Epcot processional because it was booked, but many like this. We visited each deluxe resort to see the chocolate/gingerbread displays. All lots of fun.

Hi, I'm not sure how close to Christmas that you'll be there. Last year my girls & I went to Disney from Dec 20th to 27th. We did LTT on Christmas Eve which was very special. We also belong to DVC & stayed at the Beach. When we checked in, we signed up to do the Gingerbread Decorating in Cape May. I think that it may only be the week before Christmas but it was so much fun! On Christmas Night we went to the Candlelight Processional. John Stamos was narrating. We then went & ate at Japan--not the typical Christmas dinner but it was wonderful. One night we ate at the Castle during the time that the fireworks were going off.

As far as special restaurants for Christmas, I would 2nd 1900 Park Fare just because it is at the Floridian which is just gorgeous!

For the total Christmas experience, for me, the Candlelight Processional is not to be missed!!! It is sooo beautiful!! They have dinner pkgs that include the show which I highly recommend! We ate at LeCellier and then saw the 8:00 show-it was an amazing night-plus it the package is on the dining plan.

I 2nd the osborne lights at MGM. And visit a couple of resorts as well for the decorations. At Epcot, many of the countries have their version of santa telling stories.
