On our trip last September, we bought "Disney Bear: A Day at the Magic Kingdom" book (looks like a goldenbook, technically is not) at Everything POP gift shop. ALL of us love it, it is a great way to remember our favorite rides. Has anyone seen a new one featuring one of the other parks? We are returning end of May and would love to get one if they are available. They make a great souven-ear! :earboy2:

I've never seen these - but it sounds like something we'd love - did you happen to see them anywhere else?

I do remember seeing them here and there, mostly in resort gift shops. Unfortunately my memory is not good enough to say where exactly. It is the cutest book! Tinkerbell bring's Mickey's teddy bear (Disney Bear) to life so that he has someone to play with at Disney World.

Mickey and Disney Bear visit: Mickey's house, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Country Bears, Splash Mountain, Tom Sawyer's Island, The Haunted Mansion, Dumbo, Small World, Peter Pan, Teacups, Main St. Parade, Astro Orbiter and the Walt Disney World Railroad.

It is sooo cute! I thought with Disney's marketing I was sure they would even make a buyable Disney Bear!

This book sounds so cute! We're going on our first WDW trip in October and we're staying at Pop, so I'm definitely going to be on the lookout for this book. Do you remember how much it cost?

Not just for my DD, but I'm an elementary school librarian and would LOVE this in the collection! SO hoping I can find this on our next trip!

If you've seen this recently at WDW, please let us know!

I bought our Disney Bear book at The Emporium on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom last year. The boys love it! We read through it every now and then and talk about all the rides we went on during our last trip.

It would be great if they had one for every park, but I've only seen the Magic Kingdom one.

We have one of the Disney bears and the book. We love them both! The bear when we were there in 2005 was in brown, blue, purple, pnik and maybe another color. SO cute!

We got our book and bear in DTD

We got this book on our last trip in September. My ds was so sad when he left it on the airplane on the way home :( . We got it at DTD but I don't remember what store it was in. I hope they still have them when we go back this June.

We got the bear (and it has a shorter version of the story in a small tag sized book) and the book last September 2006. I got the bear at the Mickey Mart in DTD for really cheap- i think around$10 adn the book I found at the big store (I think World of Disney), it was about $4 maybe- it really is cute. I would think if it was at Mickey Mart, it may have been discontinued but I am not sure. It seems like i asked and that was the only place I could get it. But I think the book is still availableYou may want to call the number for WDW mechandise and see if you can get one or find out where they have them now if you are going. Also try ebay and half.com (book).

Here is a bear on auction right now- (see the tag book on the ear?)

Oh I have to find one of these books, we got the Bear a few days after thanksgiving at the World of Disney store in NYC, he is wearing a holiday T-Shirt and has the NYC logo on his shirt with a tag about the history of the Disney Bear, he was only $10 with any $25 purchase.

We bought one of those books this past February in gift store/mercantile at Fort Wilderness. They had quite a few. I am actually sorry I did not buy more than one because it does make a cute gift. My daughters 4 and 2, love reading it and remembering that they went on the same rides as Mickey and his bear.

Well, yet another thing to buy! I might try to get this before our January 2008 tri, so my DD will be ready to see what she will be riding!!

I will keep my eyes open and report back when we come home to see what I find. We are going May 29-June3. I just checked out the Disney Bear on ebay, how CUTE!!! Did you see the winning bid price?? $2.99! EGADS! Wish I had jumped on that one!

I think the price was somewhere around $4 back in September. Wish I had bought more too because they would make a great gift!

I bought one yesterday(Sunday) at the Emporium in MK. The price was $4. I also saw them in one of the other stores (I think it may have been the Art Gallery in the castle). They both had several. I did not see any bears.

I had asked over in Epcot earlier in the day, and no one had any idea what I was talking about, and I didn't see them with the books. It is a cute little book.

If anyone sees any bears, please let us know.

Amie
