Any minimum age for single rider lines?

I am planning a trip for August with my 8 yo DS and 3 yo DS. Little brother will hopefully be 40" by then, so we have a lot of things we can all do together. But this is big bro's first trip to WDW since passing 48" and he really, really wants to do at least one new big kid (48") thrill ride, as he is a big coaster lover. It seems that EE in AK still has a single rider line and I'm wondering if they will let him do that by himself? Does anyone know if there are age limits on single riders? As long as you are tall enough, do they let you ride alone? Also, will they let little bro and mom here wait in the line with him and then just exit when he gets on so that our group can stay together more easily?

On our last trip to Disney our DD was 8 yo and like your DS had finally reached the height requirement to ride some of the big kid thrill rides. One of her favorites ended up being EE at AK. I got in the single line with her and my 12 yo DD and went thru the line up until it was time to get on the ride and then exited once she was on the ride. I think she ended up doing about 3 more rides going thru the singles line. We waited at the end of the ride where the riders exited and met them there. It worked out perfectly and saved my husband and I an afternoon of dizziness and headaches from too many thrill rides.

7 is the age to ride alone.

No one under the height requirement will be allowed to enter the line. If he wants to ride alone and there's no other adult to go, he will get to wait in line alone.

Apart from "what would he do if there's a ride stop and even evacuation of a broken ride", I've also asked myself "given how he acts in line with us, can I trust him to be a gentleman in line?" about my son.

no one under height requirement will be allowed in line, so younger brother can not be there. unless you have someone to stay with little one, big guy will have to do line by self as long as he is over 7 years old. only can decide if this will work for your group

Most of the time, EE single rider line is very short so you might be ok with him in line alone for that short time. totally your call. My only concern would be that he had at least done a similar trill ride in the past so that he knows he will like it and be ok on it.

This is exactly the info I needed! Thank you, all. So good to hear that EE single rider line is usually very short since little bro can't be in line. He's done multiple 48" coasters at other theme parks and loved them all, so I don't think he will be scared and if the rider were to stop, I think he would be okay following the rules. That happened on a log ride once a couple of years ago when he was with his aunt and he was unfazed. My biggest concern is that he will talk non-stop to others in line!

And now I'm curious, other than EE, what else has single rider (especially SHORT) line? Would love suggestions!

Not necessarily short, but Rock 'n Roller Coaster and Test Track have single riders lines.

For some reason we have never had good luck with TT single ride line. It is always shorter than the standby, but not short by any means. A couple years ago we were in the line and waited like 30 minutes. We met in line this little girl who was alone and TOLD us she was 6. She looked about 6. She was in line to ride alone, had never ridden it before and once she saw the ride....looked scared. She ended up riding beside of me and she was fine but it was not a good thing at all.
