For those who opt into using the system, how often do you use it? How do you use it?

it is not a cheap service, so i would imagine people would want to make the most out of it... do you guys take multiple shots of each location, with different poses, what?

How do you use Memory Maker to enhance your trip?

We had the pp+, which is now mm. I split the package cost with a friend. We had so many pictures. I would stop and take pics with every photographer I saw. We did ride photos, photos with characters, and character breakfasts. I also made a list of the magic shots so I made sure to get those. My friend's daughter did BBB and my son did Star Wars training so there were a ton of pictures from those. I do believe it was well worth the money! Also, if photographers know you have already purchased MM, they will usually spend more time with you and take multiple pictures.

Can you tell me how you were able to share the Memory Maker with a friend? I have 2 friends, all staying at different off site resorts, that are going the same week we are this month. I have heard that you can't share the Memory Maker in the same way you could the Photo Pass.

I found a map online of where the photographers are stationed and printed it off.

We took advantage of as many photogrpahers as we could. It was kind of like a scavenger hunt and we enjoyed looking for them. We knew we paid a lot of money for it, so we made an effort to stop whenever we saw one.

With characters the photographer started taking pictures the minute my son started intereacting with the character. So I have some great candids of him and the character, plus the nice posed pictures too. Including him playing with chip and Dale, ariel giving him a kiss on the cheek, and lots and lots of hugs from many characters

With each photographer we got 2-5 pictures.

I think in 3 days we got over 175 pictures, but like I said, we made the most of it.

For us, it was worth it. But its one of those things where it becomes what you make of it. I checked the pictures at night on my labtop and kept a running tab of how many pictures we were getting. Our goal was 150 since we paid 150. So a dollar a picture. For us that helped setting a goal.

Where did you find the map of photographer locations? I would love to have that! Thanks!

I can't remember what website it was off the top of my head. After I get my son to bed, I will check through my Disney stuff and see if I can find it for you.

:)

I should add, we took advantage of multiple photographers at the same locations- like on Main street at MK and DHS and by Spaceship earth at Epcot.

Some photographers were better then others and some were better at setting us up in front for a better pose. Others also had better chemistry with my son and got him to laugh and smile better. They are stationed down the main road, so we just took 15 minutes or so and went to the various photographers around the same area.

Also one of them saw what we were doing and so by the time we got to her, she was like, okay, now that you have the regular shots are you ready to have some fun. So we did silly poses, jazz hands photos and then he did some magic shots photos where when I downloaded them online we had a special animated character in the photo with us. It was so fun!

My sisters are traveling with us. If I purchase MM is there any way to link them to it so if they are with my daughters we can get photos without me included / available?

You can link who ever you have added on your MDE account.

There is a spot on the website where you can add family and friends. You can add people there.

Then when you purchase Memory Maker you there is spot where you can select the people from your account to be linked to your memory maker account.

Fantastic! They are already linked on MDE. I also like the plan of 150 pictures for $150.

Question..I purchased MM+ when I made our reservations. We don't arrive until the 23--should I see something in MDE now indicating that we have it??

Love the tips. Thank you for helping me decide to go ahead and add the MM. I am now thinking I will get my money's worth with daughter at BBB, CRT, Tusker House and Crystal Palace.

I would also love a link to the map of photog locations!

We didn't get any from Crystal Palace- we got one from Chef Mickeys.
Character Meet and Greets are weird, some have the photographers (most) but not all.

For example
At MK- the characters who did- Chip and Dale, Ariel, Cinderella/aurora, enchanted tales with belle (we got the card and then linked the card with our own memory maker so we got all the pictures from that) and Mickey and Minnie at their M&G's did.
but Peter pan/wendy did not and the characters from Crystal Palace didn't.

At DHS- The characters at the character spot by the hat did - daisy, pluto, etc. Jake and Sofia did, Lighting Mcqueen and Mator and Woody/Buzz did

But the characters at the character palooza did not, either did the green army men or Darth Vader

At Epcot- some countries did, some didn't. Donald at Mexico did, as did Belle in Mexico and Pooh/tigger in England.

But Alice and Mulan did not.

At epcot the characters in the character spot also had each had their own photographers so we got Mickey, Minnie, Goofy there.

Not sure about Elsa and Anna- we didn't wait in line for them.

We just saw as many characters as we could and if there was a photographer there we were extra excited and made sure they scanned our info.
