Any Mechanics Out There?

With hubby working out of town, it seems like one thing after another.

My brake light came on my Suburban, and stayed on for about a week. Fluid leves stayed fine, and i never felt anything diferent in the braking.

Now its doing some weird flashing. It goes:

FLASH-FLASH-FLASH FLAAAAAAAAAASH
FLASH-FLASH-FLASH FLAAAAAAAAAASH
FLASH-FLASH-FLASH FLAAAAAAAAAASH

Now is this weird or what? My son says it's a little tiny man inside trying to SOS in morse code.

Any suggestions? I know I will end up taking it in to a professional, but has anyone heard of this sequence flashing thing?

I'm not a mechanic, but I know that is probably a code that a mechanic would be able to figure out.
You need to get your brakes checked soon. The more you wear them out, the more damage that will be done and the more time and money that it will cost.

It could be the brake pads going low....and trust me you don't want to play with that!

Could be be a bad antilock brake sensor.
