Any Marriot Orlando Airport Experience?

I booked a hotel for one night prior to my Disney Cruise Land/Sea Package using Priceline, and got the Marriot Orlando Airport. Has anyone recently stayed there? If so, what is your opinion of the hotel property, rooms and service? The last time I used priceline I got a well-known (3 star) hotel that was so outdated- carpet had stains, the wall paper was ripped up, the whole tower I was in smelled, etc...(the list goes on). The hotel has since been renovated, and is now living up to its name. I don't really know what to expect. I thought I'd give Priceline another chance. If I have a bad experience this time- I will stick to using Hotwire to get a good deal in the future.

We stayed there about a year ago, through Priceline also, as we had a 5:45 a.m. flight the next morning. The room was very nice, very clean, spacious and comfortable. Considering the quality of the accomodations and the price, if it were a little closer to Disney, I'd stay there for the whole vacation! (although the tolls would probably eat up any savings! LOL!). I'm sure you'll be fine!

What hotel and when did you stay? Some of the airport hotels, Crowne Plaza in particular, got significant damage from the hurricanes last year.

I stayed at a hotel in Anaheim, CA early 2004. The hotel has come along way since my last stay.

Thank you- it is good to hear you had a great experience. :goodvibes

We just stayed there last week. When we walked into the lobby at 3 am (super late flight) my son said very loud, "Mom, we can't afford this!". It was a nice hotel. The rooms were very clean, nice beds, nice clean bathroom. I thought the room was on the small side, but it didn't effect my stay. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant buffet. The food was great and the service was super. Everyone working there was glad to see you. My kids loved the pool. It had a very tropical feel. I would have also gladly stayed there my entire trip. Also, the airport shuttle was good. Very quick and helpful.
