Any makeup lovers out there??

Hi all

I ve seen sooo many beautiful pics of brides makeup but tend to notice that most people opt for a more natural look especialy on the eyes. Im work in cosmetics so have to for my proferssion where a fair amount of makeup on a daily basis, standard look being smokey eyes, super glossy nude lips, false lashes etc etc. So if i dont look fairly well made up i just dont look like me so really want to keep to this for my wedding day

I was just curiuos to see if anyone else had opted for a more "stand out" look for their makeup & if so would you be so kind as to share some pics with me??

I ve decided to go with Ana from Beauty Speciale as she seems the most qualified to me, im exceptionally picky about having my makeup done by someone else so seeing as shes done tv/film work plus has been a Mac m/up artist has made me very confident that her & her team will do an amazing job.

I know Summer Caitlin had a fab smokey look for her wedding day but am hoping there are more brides out there that have also gone for the same look

Not really, its my wedding day so its the one day where i should nt have to do my own makeup. Even the makeup artist i work for on her wedding day got her makeup done for her & shes 1 of the leading artists in UK.

Saving money really does nt come in to the question either, id rather pay out & look amazing then do my own makeup & have the same look as i do every day.

Granted i work as a m/up artist but like every other girl i wanna get pampered too!!!!!!

I remember talking to Summer about this & her saying that to me, if i remember right i dont think she took any pics of the look she wanted to show them. I know they went too heavy & dark a cross her lower lid with shadow, i still think she looked lovely though . The problem with m/up is there are soooo many ways of doing 1 look that people wont always listen to what you want, whereas if they ve got an image to copy they really cant have any excuse for not following it !! I ve already found an exact picture of the look i want as well as exactly how i want my hair. I always take pics with me whenever i want my hair coloured or styled so that way people cant start putting their own interpretation of what im looking for.

Plus i find that when i have people wanting makeovers if they bring pics it helps me get a true idea of what they want. I ve read many ladies on the boards have done the same for their hair & m/up & have come a way getting the exact look they wanted on their wedding day.

Lily from beaute Special did mine. I think mine was a little darker than most people wear. She really, really listened to what I wanted, what I had to say and would stop every so often to have me look at the make up. She started off light and kept adding until I was happy.

You know what, i ve had this pic for over a year & have never noticed that. I think i love the hair style so much that i just get absorbed at focusing on that. When i ve showed the pic to my mates they re just like " gees Pam really knows how to make an entrance". Think when i print the pic off i may have to cut the image down leaving off Pams cleveage as its not exactly the normal pic people take show someone to copy i guess

"Porn Star makeup" . Now thats a description that you dont here too often . Love the sound of smokey, sultry eyes though . Have you got any pics that show the kinda look you re aiming for??

I love these pics makeup wise but am not too sure if its gonna be too much, thats what my df seems to think anyway when he saw me checking out possible wedding day looks (yes you may have noticed im a Pam Anderson fan)
