We have requested 2nd seating - With the time difference for us, that is what works out well for us - I just know my DH and your Dad would probably get along great - What team does he support again? I believe you support Man U? is that right?

Hi all hope you had a great weekend and Father's Day to all the Dads.

As some of you know my DH is a tractor-trailer driver for Frito-Lay. A few weeks ago Frito of Aberdeen Maryland held their 8th Annual Professional Drivers Competition. DH came in 2nd place which sent him to compete in the state competition which was held yesterday. He came in 1st place . In August we'll go to Ohio where he will compete in the National Competition. I am so proud of him. He'll need a good vacation after all of this stress.

DP when I booked our cruise I used the credit card for the deposit and I paid off the cruise with the credit card. I called my TA and gave them the new code to get the $100. They called it in to Disney who applied it, taking away my first onboard credit of $50 but that was o.k. by me.

Info from Ray about the Halloween Tee-shirts, polos and tank tops that have a embroidered logo. He is sorry for the delay, he has had 2 deaths in the family. First his Dad past away then 2 weeks later his brother. Our prays go out to him and his family.
He is working on a new logo this year for us something with Mickey and Minnie.

Well, another weekend over with!

Welcome NADTWINS! You're gonna just love this cruise! And while this is our 3rd DCL cruise, it's our 1st Halloween sailing. From what I can gather, bring those costumes! It sounds like a ton of fun!

Ginger, congrats to your DH. From all the bounces , I can tell you're very proud!

I think Halloween's the best time to cruise! I'm not exactly an expert but I think it all the same.

Congratulations to your DH Ginger!

My dad is an Everton fan I think where as my brothers and I are Man U supporters. We'll also be on second sitting I think.

Dress rehersal actually didn't go all that badly! Some parts are a bit iffy but we'll get them sorted I hope. I do have to wear a stupid welsh hat but I secretly quite like it!

Although I posted this as a new thread, I thought I'd put it down for those who only read this one.

In 2004, the Magic will add the Port of Call, San Juan, Puerto Rico to it's itinerary - only on August 2, August 21 and September 4. This will replace St. Marten.

Also, in 2004, the Magic will add Antigua in place of St. Marten on September 21 and October 4.

I've changed my cruise dates to get both of these ports in -

Also, I was tipped off that shortly the December 2004 dates will be released - HINT!!! 10 day cruise for the Holidays?!~

AND since 2005 will be the 50th Anniversary of Disneyland, would it be a surprise to anyone if the Magic relocated there for the year?!!!

This can be VERY interesting!!!

Remeber that test I took lst month? Well I passed I'll get a raise in pay and a new title.

Rae I've been calling DCL's myself about our Halloween 2004 cruise to see if there will be any changes but so far none.

Congrats on passing the test Ginger, and I'm glad you like the magnets. Our DD gets out of school on Friday, and it won't be a day too soon as far as we are concerned.

Rae, I don't blame you Antigua is very tempting. I'm going to wait and see what the future holds before I change. I've been tring to talk Ray and Tony into going with us next year. Maybe a new port of call will get them excited.

Rae I just noticed that you'll almost be going back to back next year. Why not go for a whole month??? LOL Just think of the packing time you'll save not to mention the money on airfare.

I know!!!! I told Mom and Tom that but they are each going on only one of those trips, so I have to return. IF there is any chance for us to do the 10 day trip over 2004 holiday - I might just swap one out and do it. That's always a possibility.

I have to see what the cash flow is since I refuse to pay interest charges and will only go if I can have it paid in full or use DVC points. It wouldn't make sense for me to pay interest for a vacation!!!

Your right about that. If you have to pay interest there is no savings. I've been looking into our points and if we don't go to WDW in January we may have enough to pay for our 2004 cruise.

Do you have any idea where the 10 day cruise will be going, that is if they do offer it. I remember last year there was something about a cruise in Europe. If I can found the page about it I'll share the info.

What a wonderful itinerary for Ports of call - anytime I can get to Italy, I run like a rabbit!

I would like to see a trip to Venice added, but not at the expect of losing any of the other ports! Been to Livorno and Civitavecchia (you can get to Sardania from there!) - wonderful!

Yes, I put a litttle spark under Sparkly's heels. LOL
Sparky has picked up his speed because his load has gotten a little lighter and the weather is nicer. I've been getting done alot earlier myself.

Looks like rain here today, very gloomy . So do I go to the gym or spread mulch? DH's is home I think I'll spread the mulch since I'll have him here to help. I know I do have to track down my contractor, we got the finally go ahead from Harford Co. to start work on our house. Boy! this has been taking for ever. I could have done it myself and had it done by now and I don't know anything about it. It was suppose to start April 1st. I guess I should have known better with April Foolsday as my starting date.

Back from our trip to Texas. I'll have to spend some time going over posts I have missed while we were gone. Hope you all are doing well and that I didn't miss much while we were gone.


A European cruise would be so awesome! I am originally from Naples, Italy and would love to take my kids on a European cruise. I plan on taking them to Europe someday anyway so this would be a super way to go. Those of you "in the know" please keep us posted on what you learn about this exciting possibility!

I don't post much. Probably because I'm too lazy.

European cruise sounds interesting. Not that I'd do it as I am not much of a European fan. They could always skip France though and go to Portugal instead. Hmmmmmmm ... wonder if that has anything with me being Portuguese? Nah .. I'm fair! LOL

Seriously, it all sounds great to me! I'm just really, really looking forward to the cruise. And for more reasons that just cruiising on DCL as well.
